Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Gravity Swing at daily against Rift Gate's every 3 days. Rift Gate's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rift Gate sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Gravity Swing sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Rift Gate against 5.0 for Gravity Swing. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rift Gate has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
Rift Gate ships an update every 3 days, Gravity Swing daily. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
