Verifyco

Verifyco helps you inspect suspicious photos, videos, animated GIFs, supported public media links and PDF structure before you trust or share them. SEE THE EVIDENCE, NOT JUST A SCORE Verifyco evaluates available evidence across five governed families: Content Credentials and provenance, capture metadata, on-device neural analysis, temporal consistency for moving media, and frequency diagnostics. Each result shows which checks ran, which were unavailable and how much authority the available evidence carries. The result text names the layer that raised a concern. BUILT FOR HONEST UNCERTAINTY Not every file contains enough evidence for a definitive answer. Verifyco distinguishes likely authentic, inconclusive, suspicious and likely manipulated outcomes without treating a missing signature or an uncalibrated signal as proof. An inconclusive result now shows which way the evidence leans: toward authentic, toward AI-generated, or mixed. A "What does this number mean?" legend next to the score explains each band; the number is an evidence ranking, not a probability. When the engine cannot get enough visual evidence from a file, Verifyco says so in plain language, and that attempt does not use a free analysis or a credit. Content Credentials describe provenance; they do not guarantee that a depicted scene is factually true. PRIVATE LOCAL-FILE ANALYSIS Photos and videos selected from your device are analyzed on your iPhone. Supported public-link analysis is a separate online workflow: the submitted URL and linked media are processed temporarily by the extraction service so the app can inspect them. An optional OpenAI provenance check is off by default; only if you switch it on in Settings are JPEG, PNG and WebP images sent through Verifyco's server to OpenAI's Content Provenance API to look for OpenAI's own signals, and the server deletes the image afterwards. Crash reports and usage statistics are shared only if you choose to share them. Verifyco is an analysis tool, not a source-media download or export utility. WHAT'S INSIDE • Graded inconclusive results with a "What does this number mean?" score legend • A plain-language screen when a file can't be checked, with nothing charged • A redesigned ten-step onboarding experience • Local PDF structure review with a document-specific result • Train Your Eye guided real-versus-AI challenges • Interactive comparison and evidence explanations • Improved C2PA Content Credentials states, trust-list verification and declared-tool attribution • Image (including WebP, TIFF and BMP), video, animated GIF and bounded 4K workflows • Improved Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook public-link analysis • Detailed evidence breakdowns, history and shareable PDF reports, translated in all 20 languages • Advanced score-excluded edit/container and consistency diagnostics • Analyses that keep running when you switch tabs, with cancel and Live Activity progress • Optional OpenAI provenance check for images, off by default • Optional saving of in-app camera captures to Photos • VoiceOver, Larger Text and Reduced Motion improvements • 20 in-app languages FREE, CREDITS AND PRO Start with three analyses. Optional rewarded ads can add analysis rights. One-time analysis credit packs add analyses without a subscription; credits never expire and stay on the device where you bought them. Pro removes ads and unlocks higher usage limits and detailed report capabilities. Every plan runs the same analysis engine; large-file, sampling and reporting capacity may differ. Current products, localized prices, renewal terms and any eligible trial are shown by the App Store before purchase. IMPORTANT Verifyco provides probabilistic decision-support, not a legal finding or guarantee. Preserve original media and use qualified human review for consequential decisions.
