Quiltd is a shared home for the things a household has to keep track of together — the chores, the bills, the filter that needs changing, the policy that quietly expires in March. It is built for the people who live under one roof: a couple, a family, or up to six roommates. Not a project manager, not a corporate to-do list. One home, and the handful of things that go wrong when nobody is sure whose turn it was or who paid. A SUBSCRIPTION IS REQUIRED Quiltd is free for the first 14 days. After that, everything below needs a subscription: pay what you can, $1, $3, $6 or $10 a month, and one subscription covers your whole household. TAKE TURNS WITHOUT KEEPING SCORE Chores can alternate between you automatically. Whose turn it is this week is worked out from the calendar, not from a tally someone has to maintain, so nobody has to remember who did the bathroom last time. Tick something off on your phone and it disappears from theirs a second later. CHORES THAT RESET THEMSELVES Daily chores clear overnight, weekly ones on Monday morning, monthly ones on the first. Or give a weekly chore a day of its own, like the trash on Tuesdays, and it clears on that day instead: it keeps off Today until then, and stays there until somebody does it. You never reset a list. BILLS BEFORE THEY ARE LATE Every bill with its amount, its day of the month, and whether it is on autopay. Anything billed every six months or once a year waits until the month it is actually due instead of cluttering the list. The month view spreads them out, so a six-month payment shows its real monthly cost. REMINDERS THAT ARRIVE ON TIME Quiltd schedules reminders on your phone itself — bills three days before they are due and again on the day, upkeep when its interval comes round, renewals a month before they lapse. They work with no signal, and each person sets their own, so turning yours off does not change anything for anyone else. ROOMMATES WELCOME, AND NOBODY'S INCOME REQUIRED Choose Roommates and Quiltd starts with what you share: rent, utilities, the bathroom. It never asks about anyone's income. Give each bill an owner and split it Evenly, One pays or Custom; everyone sees their own share, and each person ticks off their own. It turns Paid once everyone has. THE THINGS YOU ONLY NEED TWICE A YEAR Upkeep that runs on intervals — the AC filter, the smoke detectors. Renewals that cost you if they lapse. Contacts for the leasing office and the after-hours maintenance line. The network name and where its password is kept. AND THE WEEK ITSELF Dinner for each night, a grocery list grouped by aisle, and a calendar you can export to Apple, Google or Outlook. QUILTD DOES NOT STORE YOUR PASSWORDS There is nowhere to type an account password or a Wi-Fi key. It records where each one lives, like your password manager, so whoever needs it knows where to look. A FACE ID LOCK, IF YOU WANT ONE Switch it on in Setup and Quiltd asks for Face ID, or Touch ID, whenever it has been closed for a minute or more, with your passcode as a fallback. Nothing about your face reaches Quiltd: your iPhone only tells it yes or no. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO No adverts. No analytics. No tracking of any kind. Nothing is sold, and nothing leaves your household. You can download everything you have entered as a single file whenever you like, leave a household without losing your account, and delete your account from inside the app in two taps. THE SUBSCRIPTION, PAY WHAT YOU CAN Quiltd needs a subscription once the 14-day free trial ends. Pick $1, $3, $6 or $10 a month, whichever feels right: every price opens all of Quiltd, and one covers everyone in your household. It renews monthly until you cancel, and you can change or cancel it any time in Settings on your iPhone. Setting up takes about a minute, with the common answers already filled in. The last step is an invite link for everyone else, with the code built in, and they choose their own name when they join.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Planning Center at none against Quiltd's 7. Planning Center also leads on ratings volume (37 vs 1). Quiltd's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 11 days). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Quiltd holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Planning Center has 37 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
