Your gym work should fuel your sport. Not wreck it. EVAD writes a strength program for your sport and your season, and every exercise comes with one line on why it's there. Know what today is for before you touch the bar. THE WHY BEHIND EVERY LIFT The same lift does a different job in a different sport. A Romanian deadlift is there for landings if you skate, for sprint stride power if you play football, and for holding a turn if you ski. EVAD says which, on every exercise, in plain words. Tap any exercise for a how-to card with setup, cues and what to avoid: more than 300 of them, built into the app so they work in a gym with no signal. BUILT AROUND YOUR REAL WEEK • Your practices and competitions go on the calendar first • Pick 3 to 5 lifting days and EVAD fits them into the gaps • Nothing heavy on competition day or the day before • A real rest day every week, scheduled on purpose • Add a meet and EVAD tapers into it: the day before becomes a short primer and meet day stays clear • Move, skip or swap a day, and one tap puts the plan back 24 SPORTS, EACH WITH ITS OWN RULES Figure skating, track, football, basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball, lacrosse, wrestling, swimming, cross country, tennis, golf, hockey, rowing, cycling, triathlon, water polo, alpine skiing, nordic skiing, rock climbing, powerlifting, running, and lifting & general fitness. TODAY'S JOB When a new block starts, Coach EVAD walks you through your first session one lift at a time, each with its reason, before you press start. SEE THE WORK ADD UP • Log sets as you go and watch PRs land mid-workout • The Progress tab shows where you are in the block, your key lifts and your records • A full-year calendar of every session you've done • Import past training from Strong or Hevy so you don't start from zero • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, plus a Live Activity while you train • Finished workouts can be saved to Apple Health SAFE BY DESIGN Loads are checked against your age, your equipment and any injury you've told EVAD about, and a week that fails those checks is rebuilt before you see it. Athletes under 18 get youth load limits. If you flag a head injury, EVAD stops building and asks you to get cleared first. EVAD is a training tool and does not give medical advice. CREW, FRIENDS ONLY Share a workout with friends you approve. No public feed, no strangers, no leaderboard. Accounts start private, and under-16 accounts need approval for every follow. HOW EVAD WRITES YOUR PROGRAM Your program is written by AI (Claude, from Anthropic) through EVAD's own server, then checked by EVAD's safety rules. Nothing is sent until you give consent. Free to download, no ads. Pick your sport, mark your week, and your first session is ready in a few minutes. For athletes 13 and up. The app is in English.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: EVAD at none against Alpine Performance Labs's shown. Alpine Performance Labs's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
