Templar Formation vs Beatwired

Templar Formation is a daily discipline program that trains your soul, mind, and body through warrior-saint prayer, vice study, military calisthenics, and brotherhood accountability. Each cycle you confront one of the 7 deadly vices with its patron warrior saint. Complete your daily formation orders. Study the vice. Train your body. Join a squad. Launch fire-team missions with your brothers. Rise through the ranks. HOW IT WORKS DAILY ORDERS Eight orders across three pillars — Spiritual, Mental, and Physical. Morning prayer with your warrior saint. Daily discipline. Evening examen. Vice study and quiz. A full calisthenics workout. Water and sleep tracking. Earn XP for every order completed. CONQUER THE 7 VICES A focused progression through the 7 deadly vices — Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Anger, and Sloth. One vice at a time until you conquer it. Each vice has three tiers of study — Basic, Advanced, and Master. Learn the roots of the vice, pass the quiz, and defeat it with your patron saint at your side. Basic teaches you the vice. Advanced sharpens your understanding. Master forges conviction. BROTHERHOOD Join the Order. Compete on five leaderboards. Post prayer petitions on the prayerboard. Share why you fight. Form squads and invite brothers by text with a direct App Store link. Hold each other accountable. FIRE-TEAM MISSIONS Challenge your squad to Cold Showers, Daily Fast, 50 Push-ups, Holy Rosary, Scripture Reading, Wake Before Dawn, and No Social Media. Pick a duration — 1, 3, 5, or 7 days. Every brother earns or fails on his own. One slip is yours, not the team's. DEVOTIONS Pray the Rosary together as a squad. Track your devotional life alongside your formation. Spiritual discipline is not optional — it is the foundation. WARRIOR TRAINING A structured calisthenics program scaled to your fitness level. Progressive overload built in — the work increases as you grow stronger. No gym required. RISE IN RANK Start as a Pilgrim. Earn XP through daily formation. Get promoted through ten ranks — from Initiate to Grand Master. Each promotion comes with a ceremony and prayer. Beatwired is a rhythm-based regulation tool for ADHD brains. No drums required. A pillow and ten minutes will do. A session is simple. Check in with how you're feeling: overwhelmed, balanced, or under-stimulated. Get a drum pattern matched to it. Watch it played on video, then practice with a steady click and a rhythm grid, on whatever is in front of you. Thighs, a tabletop, a pillow. A practice pad if you have one. A drum kit if one lives in your house. Every session runs about ten minutes, with a good stopping point near the halfway mark, and you can stop whenever you’re done. Built for people who have quit a hundred apps. Missing a day costs nothing: your total minutes only count up, and coming back after a gap is met with "You're back. New streak starts now." No drumming experience needed. Nothing to perform. WHAT'S IN THE APP • A library of 18 patterns, filmed overhead: pad, kit, and hands • A steady click at tempos chosen for each pattern • A three-state check-in that shapes the session • A rhythm grid that shows each pattern as your two hands, no notation required • Progress that counts up: total minutes, patterns found, and a gentle day streak FREE AND PRO The free tier is a complete daily practice. Beatwired Pro adds the full pattern library, every pattern on pad, kit, and hands: $49.99 a year or $7.99 a month, after a 7-day free trial. No countdowns, no expiring offers. It costs the same tomorrow. WHAT BEATWIRED IS NOT Beatwired is not a medical treatment. It does not treat ADHD or any health condition, and it is not a substitute for medication, therapy, or care. The research on rhythm and ADHD is young; we grade it honestly, including what is not yet proven, at beatwired.com/science. Beatwired itself has not been studied. SAFETY Beatwired asks for your hands and your attention. Never use it while driving or operating machinery. Beatwired’s practice grid pulses gently in time with the click. If you’re sensitive to flashing or pulsing visuals, talk with your doctor before using it — and turn on your device’s Reduce Motion setting, which Beatwired honors. Beatwired comes from a father and son. The father, a lifelong drummer and a physician of nearly twenty years, started teaching his son the drums at age three. The son grew up with ADHD. Interests came and went. The drums stayed. Your brain was made for this.
