Olively is the attachment style app for understanding your relationship patterns through attachment theory. Learn how anxious attachment, avoidant attachment, fearful avoidant attachment, secure attachment, insecure attachment, and codependency patterns show up in real communication. Take an attachment style quiz, understand your relationship patterns, learn how your attachment system shows up in texts and conflict, and practice more secure communication with tools for real conversations. Olively helps you move from spiraling, shutdown, protest behavior, reassurance-seeking, defensiveness, mixed signals, and repeated fights toward clearer communication, healthier boundaries, repair, and earned secure attachment. Built around attachment theory, Olively combines an attachment style quiz, partner-style insights, guided programs, a practical attachment library, message translation, text decoding, Relationship Pulse, and Spiral Support. How Olively Helps Attachment Style Quiz Find your attachment style and learn how anxious, avoidant, fearful avoidant, disorganized, and secure attachment patterns show up in communication, intimacy, conflict, and repair. Understand Your Relationship Pattern Add your partner’s attachment style to see how your two patterns interact. Olively helps explain anxious-avoidant dynamics, reassurance loops, emotional shutdown, distancing, overthinking, and repair needs. Translate Messages Type what you want to say. Olively helps rewrite it for your partner’s attachment style so your message is clearer, calmer, and less likely to trigger defensiveness. Decode Texts Paste a message from your partner and see what your anxious, avoidant, or insecure attachment system may be hearing compared with what they may actually mean. Relationship Pulse Answer a few questions about what is happening and get a read on the pattern: why it feels triggering, what dynamic may be showing up, and what secure next step to try. Spiral Support When you are overthinking a short reply, waiting for reassurance, or afraid your partner is pulling away, Olively helps you slow down, name the trigger, and choose a more secure response. 7-Day Programs Follow guided programs for anxious attachment, avoidant attachment, codependency, conflict repair, boundaries, reconnection, and secure relationship habits. Attachment Library Learn attachment theory in practical language, including anxious attachment, avoidant attachment, fearful avoidant attachment, disorganized attachment, secure attachment, emotional availability, nervous system triggers, communication patterns, and relationship repair. Olively is for you if: - You spiral over texts, tone, silence, or delayed replies - You want an attachment style quiz with practical next steps - You are healing anxious attachment, avoidant attachment, or codependency patterns - You and your partner repeat the same fight again and again - You want to communicate without escalating conflict - You want to understand anxious and avoidant attachment dynamics - You want healthier boundaries, repair, and secure communication Many relationship fights are not only about the words being said. They are about the attachment system underneath them. An anxious attachment style may hear rejection where none was intended. An avoidant attachment style may hear pressure or criticism in a request for closeness. Codependency patterns can make it hard to pause, set boundaries, or stop chasing reassurance. Olively helps turn those moments into clearer, calmer conversations. Instead of asking “What should I text back?” in panic, Olively helps you understand what you are feeling, what your partner may be feeling, what could trigger conflict, and how to respond from a more secure place. Olively uses attachment-aware AI guidance to support communication and education. It is not a replacement for therapy, diagnosis, crisis support, or professional relationship counseling.

Sheaf is a plurality tracker for plural systems. Create member profiles, track switches, keep journals, send notifications of front changes to others, and more. Built by plural systems, for plural systems. Inclusive of all plural experiences regardless of origin or framing - no required diagnosis, no gatekeeping, no assumptions about how your system "should" work. Designed to be privacy-first and keep the user in control. Sheaf also includes Apple Watch support with a flexible set of complications and widgets that allows you to see your front status at a glance, register switches, and view history all without ever pulling out your phone. Sheaf exists because Simply Plural is shutting down, and the plural community needs somewhere that won't quietly disappear. Sheaf is open source under AGPL: the code is public, the project can be forked, and you can self-host your own instance if you'd rather keep your data on your own infrastructure. Sheaf can import your existing system data from Simply Plural, with support for more tools coming soon. What you can do: - Track system members and front changes - Write member- and system-wide journals - Manage member groups - Send notifications of front changes - Use the hosted service or run your own - Cross-platform: Mobile, wearable, and web clients We're rolling out in stages. Sensitive community data deserves slow-and-correct over fast-and-sorry, so the hosted service is moving carefully through preview before a full public launch.

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sheaf at 100% against Olively's 44%. Sheaf also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and device support (3 vs 1). ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Olively holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Olively has 569 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Olively's written reviews are positive against 100% of Sheaf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Olively ships an update weekly, Sheaf every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
