( https://www.youtube.com/@cameronclark4667 - Visit this site for free training on how to get the most from this app. ) Some people struggle to play full piano scores using two different clefs, and needing to read note heads that are positioned vertically... when the rest of the time humans track side to side reading text. Add in the complexity of taking a vertical representation of notes you scan with traditional manuscript, and then expressing them on keys laid out horizontally... No wonder so many people can't play piano that way. YouTube tutorials alone only get you so far. Chord chart PDFs are accurate, but are rarely practical in gigging situations. Knowing chords is only half the battle. You need to know when to change to the next chord, and that requires good listening and experience (mistakes). Having some knowledge and then playing along with people would help but no one can afford to hire band for private jam sessions. I feel your pain. That's why I built an app that provides you with the instant chord knowledge you need, AND a virtual backing band so you can learn the changes and develop some ear training skills too (Start with slower tempos until you're ready for full speed). Make the mistakes at home, then wow people at the open mics, and then at the gigs. How do you get there? You don't need more theory. Don't waste time learning intervals that no pros think about while performing. You only need a tool that shows you exactly where to put your fingers and lets you hear each chord demonstrated properly in real time first, then add the rhythmic elements later. Books can't provide this. And most professional keyboardists are too busy to show you the tricks. This isn't a course you'll abandon after a week. It's a tool you'll reach for every time you sit down at the keys. It's a reference tool you'll refer to at a jam session when there's disagreement about chord anatomy. It's a training system that allows you to choose the curriculum you want to learn and save things for later. It's also a perfect framework for composing your own songs even if you don't believe you're a writer yet. **WHAT'S INSIDE** β€’ Dual Piano Keyboards β€” See exactly what each hand plays (Start with right hand, let the bass player handle the bass in many situations) β€’ Massive Chord Library β€” Triads, 7ths, 9ths, 11ths, 13ths, altered, sus, and more β€’ Named Jazz Voicings β€” Correct terminology, some of which are based on names of famous musicians β€’ Drum Accompaniment β€” Rock, Latin, Swing, Bossa Nova, and other patterns β€’ All 12 Keys β€” Transpose any progression instantly - great for moments when the singer in your group can't hit the high notes β€’ Adjustable Tempo β€” Slow it down to learn, speed it up to perform β€’ Save & Share Songs β€” Build your own library and send songs to friends **WHO IT'S FOR** β€’ Chording Piano players tired of only knowing basic chords β€’ Jazz enthusiasts who want to actually play, not just listen β€’ Worship musicians preparing for Sunday β€’ Songwriters sketching out progressions β€’ Teachers who need a visual tool for students (a great tool they can use to practice improv solos at home even with playback transposed for Bb & Eb instruments) β€’ Anyone who wants to study music from a harmonic perspective first, and build other skills along their way β€’ Readers who'd prefer jamming without sheet music **EVERY CHORD TYPE YOU'LL NEED** Major, minor, diminished, augmented, sus2, sus4, dominant 7th, major 7th, minor 7th, half-diminished, diminished 7th, 9ths, 11ths, 13ths, altered dominants, add9, 6th chords, and many moreβ€”with multiple inversions. Play any chord and jam for free. Subscribe only if you want to save and export songs and access the our basic chord theory curriculum. Scale Syllabus

Scale Syllabus puts the 253 scales of Complete Scale Syllabus by Gianluca Barbaro in your pocket, and lets you see, hear and transpose every one of them. The scales are not a stored list. The app rebuilds them with the algorithm the book itself was made with: every seventh chord, every combination of available tensions, folded together by rotation. That is why the numbering matches the printed page exactly β€” scale 145 here is scale 145 in the book. WHAT YOU CAN DO β€’ See any scale in standard notation, on a piano keyboard, or on a guitar or bass fretboard β€’ Transpose to any of the twelve keys, with each note spelled the way a musician would write it β€’ Start from any degree: pick a mode and the scale is shown from that note, in the key you chose β€’ Hear a scale or any of its chords, ascending or arpeggiated, with the notes lighting up as they sound β€’ See the triads and four-note chords every degree carries, inversions included, and view any of them the same three ways β€’ Read the fretboard as a whole map, or touch a fret for the run one hand can play from there β€’ Ask for a chord and the neck answers with shapes a hand can really hold β€” tap again for the next one β€’ Walk through the sixteen ways a four-note chord can be laid out inside two octaves of keyboard β€’ Choose your instrument once, and clef, written octave and transposition follow β€’ Find a scale from the notes themselves: play a phrase into the microphone, or type the note names, and the app lists the scales that contain them and says what chord they make β€’ Follow the relationships: which scales contain this one, which ones it contains, and which are a note away β€’ Print a scale as a sheet of engraved music, export it as PDF, or share it β€’ Read six short chapters of music theory, with figures the app draws itself β€’ Mark favourites and keep your own written notes on any scale A guided tour goes through all of it the first time you open the app, and it can be replayed whenever you like. The app speaks English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese and Chinese, and you can look for a scale in your own language. The names of the scales themselves stay as the book prints them. WHAT MAKES IT ACCURATE The book's own derivation quietly loses four chord types, and with them five scales. This app generates them too β€” appended at the end, so that not a single number from the printed book moves. Note spelling follows musical function rather than whatever is cheapest to compute: a minor seventh chord is written C Eb G Bb, never C D# G A#. FREE AND COMPLETE Three scales are always open: major, harmonic minor and melodic minor β€” and with the major come all its modes, natural minor included. You can open two more of your choice, and the ones you open stay yours. A single purchase opens all 258 scales and unlocks printing, PDF export and sharing β€” no subscription, no account. Nothing you write leaves your device. The app has no accounts, no advertising and no tracking of any kind, and what you play into the microphone is analysed as it arrives and never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. Reports of wrong or missing scale names are welcome: me@barbaro.it
