About

Daily Markdown

Daily Markdown is a minimalist journaling app designed for one simple purpose: write every day. SIMPLE BY DESIGN One note per day. No folders, no tags, no complexity. Just open the app and start writing. Yesterday's notes become read-only, keeping you focused on today. MULTIPLE TABS Organize each day with separate tabs - To-Do, Notes, Ideas. Create custom tabs on-the-fly to structure your thoughts however you like. MARKDOWN, YOUR WAY Write in familiar Markdown – bold, italic, headers, lists, checkboxes, and code blocks. Switch between Rich and Plain mode with a single click: Rich renders headings, emphasis, and lists as you type for distraction-free reading; Plain shows every Markdown character for precise editing. Your files stay plain .md either way. FOCUS MODE Hide distractions and enter a clean, minimal writing environment. Just you and your words. EVERYWHERE YOU ARE Available on Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Your notes sync automatically via iCloud across all your devices. Start on your Mac, continue on your iPhone, finish on your iPad. FEATURES • One note per day format • Multiple tabs per day • Rich and Plain Markdown modes with live syntax highlighting • Distraction-free focus mode • Pin important notes for quick access • Full-text search across all notes • iCloud sync across Mac, iPhone, and iPad • Light, dark, and auto themes • Multiple accent colors • Daily task templates • Word and character count • Keyboard shortcuts Daily Markdown respects your privacy. About

Flyout

Features

Flyout is a markdown note app for iPhone and iPad. Capture from the share sheet, Control Centre, a Home Screen widget or Shortcuts, then find the note again with folders, tags and search. Turn on iCloud sync and your notes travel through your own iCloud account — nothing passes through our servers. Buy "Flyout for iPhone and Mac" and the Mac app is included, where a full editor slides out from the edge of your screen over your work. There is an iPhone-only option at a lower price. WHAT YOU GET • Quick notes — a tabbed scratchpad for what you never need to file • A real editor — headings, lists, tables, code blocks with syntax highlighting, images, files • Reminders that live inside the note, not in a separate app • Tags that cut across folders, and folders for everything else • Lock a note with a password — it is encrypted on your device and in iCloud • iCloud sync on your own account — nothing passes through our servers • Capture from the share sheet, Control Centre, a Home Screen widget or Shortcuts TRY IT FIRST Seven days, everything unlocked. When the trial ends your notes stay and keep syncing; only writing pauses until you buy. PRIVACY Sync stays off until you turn it on. Once it is on, your notes travel through your own iCloud account. We do not run a server that holds notes, we cannot read them, and there is no account to create. Locked notes are encrypted with a key derived from your password.
