outernet vs BotanicBuddy

Outernet is creating a new type of internet use, in which our phones serve as a map of IRL exploration that gets us outside, instead of keeping us stuck scrolling indoors. Outernet helps you save and organize the places/events you want to check out, so it’s easy to actually go! You can share any place/event to Outernet (via tiktok, instagram reels, website URLs, screenshots, or pictures), and we’ll do the research, summarize what you need to know, and organize your plans so it’s easy to actually go. And as you complete your saved adventures, you collect stamps! When you’re on the Outernet, you can: - Actually remember to check out that cool pop-up, arts festival, woodworking class, etc. - Create a collection of trinket box locations or top coffee shops in your city, then check each off as you explore it - Plan date nights that’ll blow your partner’s socks clean off - Organize family days that both the kiddos and adults enjoy - Easily create itineraries for your vacations (both in the books and aspirational) - And most of all, spend more time outside doing things, instead of just being online watching them! This is only the beginning of Outernet reshaping how we use the internet, and we’d love to have you join us on our adventure. We’ll cya outside! BotanicBuddy is the plant-care app for people who want their plants to thrive — not just survive. IDENTIFY ANY PLANT IN SECONDS Snap a photo of a plant — your own, a friend's, one you've spotted at the garden centre — and BotanicBuddy uses computer vision to tell you what species it is, its preferred conditions, and any quirks of care. A CARE SCHEDULE BUILT AROUND YOUR LIFE Get watering, fertilising, and repotting reminders that adjust to the species, your local conditions, and how you actually use the app. No more guessing if it's been a week or two — BotanicBuddy keeps the history so you don't have to. DIAGNOSE WHAT'S WRONG, FAST Yellow leaves? Brown tips? Bugs? Take a picture of the symptom and our diagnosis engine suggests the most likely causes — over-watering, under-watering, light stress, pests, fungal — plus the next steps to recover the plant. EXPERT GUIDES, WRITTEN FOR REAL PEOPLE A growing library of articles by our editorial team and guest experts. Monstera care, sustainable propagation, eco-friendly pest control, pet-safe houseplants — everything in plain English, no jargon. A REAL COMMUNITY OF PLANT PARENTS Share what's working, ask what's going wrong, swap propagation tips with other people who actually own plants. Posts are gently moderated to keep things friendly and on-topic. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Sign in with Apple. No tracking. No selling your data. Your photos are yours.
