Busybody captures screenshots of websites and shows them in widgets on your Home Screen or Mac desktop. It refreshes automatically while you use your device. In the app, zoom and crop so the widget shows exactly the region you care about. Open the app to scrub through past captures. Everything runs locally on your device. NEW: AI SUMMARIES Get a short summary of a captured page using Apple Intelligence. Read it in the app or choose "AI Summary if Available" for a widget. Busybody can generate summaries automatically after captures. If a summary isn't available, the widget shows the screenshot. Summaries run on your device and require iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS 26 or later, with Apple Intelligence enabled on a supported device. WHY IT EXISTS Some sites are worth checking often. I check sites like Y Combinator's "Hacker News" several times a day. Internal dashboards, forums, niche news, and government pages don't always have their own widgets. Busybody is for glancing at your Home Screen or Mac desktop and seeing the page without opening a browser. HOW IT WORKS Add a URL in the app. Adjust the zoom and viewport to frame exactly what matters. Add a widget to your Home Screen or Mac desktop. Tap the widget anytime to jump straight to that site in the app. The app allows you to scrub through previous screenshots. Sign in to compatible websites in the app to capture pages that require a login. BUSYBODY PRO SUBSCRIPTION Busybody is free with one URL. Subscribe to Busybody Pro for more URLs. Widgets, screenshot history, ad blocking, and AI summaries on supported devices are included for everyone. Terms: https://folding-sky.com/terms NO BACKEND Everything runs on your device. URLs, screenshots, and summaries stay local. No Busybody account is required. I am Peter, an indie developer in Reno, Nevada. I built Busybody because I wanted a widget that shows a website at a glance without opening Safari. The name is a nod to a nosy neighbor who keeps tabs on everything. That is the idea.
