Assign almost anything to a whole class — free, in one link, written for each student's own instrument. Every scale, already written for your instrument. No account, no subscription. FOR TEACHERS Choose the exercise, the key and the tempo, and send your students one link. Each student's app opens it already set up for their instrument — their clef, their range, in the written key or at concert pitch, your choice. No accounts, no data collected. You can assign almost anything in the app — scales, long tones, ear games, jazz, the blues bass line, the maqamat — and what you assign opens for your student, even when it comes from the Full Studio. FOR EVERY PLAYER Choose your instrument — alto or tenor saxophone, trumpet, clarinet, flute, oboe, trombone, cello, voice, even timpani — and every scale appears in the right written key, the right clef and your instrument's real range. 69 instruments, all 12 keys. Press Play. Written and spoken explanations run through the app: why we practise this way, and how serious players build technique and prepare for a gig. NEW: TRAIN YOUR EAR Eight ear-training games: higher or lower down to the smallest differences in pitch, intervals, singing back, quarter tones, the 22 Arabic maqamat, and chords from simple triads to jazz voicings. Today's ear takes about four minutes a day. JAZZ, BLUES AND THE ARABIC MAQAMAT The seven modes, the ii–V–I, swing phrasing and the 12-bar blues bass line — and the 22 Arabic maqamat with real quarter tones, in the same studio. A way to build improvising technique the way a jazz player prepares, and a bridge when Arabic and Western musicians play together. FREE, AND IT STAYS FREE • The 12 major scales in every key, up to two octaves, on all 69 instruments • Scrolling notation in your instrument's written key and clef • Tonic and dominant-seventh arpeggios • Long tones, vibrato, the Milestone and all eight ear-training games • Maqam Rast with real quarter tones, and the blues bass line in F • Everything a teacher assigns THE FULL STUDIO — ONE PAYMENT, NEVER A SUBSCRIPTION Minor scales, intervals, patterns, chords, pentatonics, the modes and the ii–V–I, the 12-bar blues bass line in all 12 keys, chromatic technique, whole-tone and diminished scales, the extended range, overtones, snare rudiments and the other 21 maqamat. WHY TWELVE KEYS? At sixteen, facing a big-band chart I couldn't read, I could still hear my way through a solo — because my teacher had made me learn all twelve major scales. This is the practice tool I wish I'd had. Please note: the app's interface and written lessons are in English. Music notation is universal. The trainer works offline. Built by Thomas Hornig, Henri Selmer Paris artist and professor of saxophone at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique du Liban.
