The best reading tools don't pull you out of a book. They meet you inside it. Fleuron is an EPUB reader for people reading above their level — in English, or in Japanese, Korean and Chinese. It puts meaning, memory and study into the page itself, so you stay in the story instead of leaving it to look things up. LENS — MEANING, WITHOUT LEAVING THE LINE Short hints appear above the words likely to slow you down, set in the space between lines so nothing reflows and nothing moves. Tap any word for the full entry: readings, senses chosen for this sentence, examples, and the alternatives kept honest and available. Turn the density up when a book is hard and down when it isn't. COMPASS — A MEMORY FOR EVERY WORLD YOU ENTER Fleuron builds an index of the people, places and terms in your book as you read. It is spoiler-safe by construction: a character is described only from what you have already read, never from what is ahead. Come back after a day or a year and know exactly where you are. THE NOTEBOOK — YOUR THINKING, KEPT WITH THE BOOK Write notes in Markdown. Link a word, a character, a passage or another note, and follow the thread in either direction. Highlights, notes and saved words live together, per book, and searchable across all of them. WORDS THAT FIND THEIR WAY BACK Saving a word starts a quiet spaced-repetition schedule that decides when it should return, and in which direction — meaning, reading, or writing the word back from its sound. No decks to manage. No streak shouting at you. FOUR LANGUAGES, THOUGHT THROUGH Not one engine with the labels swapped. Japanese gets real morphological analysis and furigana over the kanji that need it. Chinese gets pinyin and character breakdowns — radicals, strokes, components. Korean gets its own grammar handling. English gets sense disambiguation from the sentence it's in. Vertical Japanese text is supported, set the way the book intends. EVERYTHING ON THE DEVICE Every dictionary ships inside the app — English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. Nothing is fetched when you look a word up, nothing is queued for later, and the whole reader works on a plane. READ ALOUD Narration works immediately with the voices already on your iPhone, and keeps your place while you listen. An optional on-device neural voice is available if you want a more natural one. NO ACCOUNT. NO TRACKING. NO SERVER. There is nothing to sign up for. Your books, notes, highlights and saved words stay on your device. Fleuron has no analytics, no advertising and nowhere to send your reading — because it has no server at all. HOW IT'S SOLD Fleuron is a free download with one book of your own — the whole reader, both intelligence features, the Notebook and every dictionary, not a trial. One payment unlocks unlimited books, forever. There is no subscription. Bring your own EPUBs, or start with the sample books in Japanese, Korean and Chinese that ship with the app.
