Both are free to download. SmartMTR for FlexRadio sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and RadioMail sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

RadioMail holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RadioMail has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of SmartMTR for FlexRadio's written reviews are positive against 75% of RadioMail's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

SmartMTR for FlexRadio ships an update every 5 weeks, RadioMail every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
