Most people are paying for subscriptions they forgot they had. Subcut helps you find them, then cancel the ones you do not want. Scan a bank or credit card statement and Subcut surfaces the recurring charges hiding inside it. The free trial that quietly started billing. The app you stopped opening months ago. The service you meant to cancel and never did. You see exactly what you are paying, and what it adds up to over a year. Find Forgotten Subscriptions • Bank statement import (CSV and PDF): upload a statement and Subcut picks out the recurring charges in about a minute • Email import (Gmail): scan receipts and confirmation emails to detect services automatically • App Store import: pull in your Apple subscriptions instantly • No manual typing, no guessing How import works: your statement or receipts are sent to a secure service that reads them to find recurring charges. They are used only to detect your subscriptions, and are never sold or shared. See Everything in One Calendar • Monthly calendar of every upcoming bill • Tap any day to see what is due • Color-coded categories • Automatic monthly and yearly totals Know what you pay, when you pay, and how much it really costs. Reminders Before You Get Charged • Alerts before each billing date • Free-trial ending warnings so you can cancel in time • Custom reminder timing • Snooze or turn off per subscription Cancel, With Guidance Subcut helps you actually cancel, not just track. • Step-by-step cancellation instructions • Website links, email templates, and phone numbers • Difficulty rating and estimated time • Savings tracked after you cancel Keep Everything Organized For every subscription you can store the name and icon, price and currency, billing cycle, category, notes, cancellation link, and trial status. Categories include Entertainment, Music, Productivity, Cloud, Gaming, Finance, Fitness, Education, Shopping, Utilities, and more. Understand Your Spending • Monthly and yearly totals • Monthly equivalent for annual plans • History of archived subscriptions • A running total of what you have saved by cancelling Privacy • No account required to start • Your subscription data is stored on your device, with optional iCloud sync • Face ID and Touch ID lock • No ads, no third-party tracking, no selling your data The app works offline for tracking and managing your subscriptions. Import needs a connection, because it reads your statements to find charges. Export Anytime Export to CSV or JSON for spreadsheets and budgeting tools. Subcut Pro • Unlimited subscriptions • Bank statement import • Data export • Custom notification timing • Priority support Free users can track up to 5 subscriptions. Most people are paying for something they've forgotten about. Not because they're careless — because subscriptions are designed to be forgettable. Small amounts, different dates, several cards, all on auto-pay. SubSlot finds them and warns you before the money moves. No bank login. No email access. No account. CAPTURE RECEIPTS THREE WAYS, ALL ON YOUR DEVICE • Share from Mail — open a receipt, tap Share, choose "Track subscription". Done, without opening the app. • Scan screenshots — screenshot the receipt emails sitting in your inbox, pick them all at once, and on-device text recognition reads them in. Bulk import with nothing uploaded. • Paste a receipt — copy an email, paste it in, and the merchant, amount, currency, billing cycle and renewal date come back filled in. The parser was built against real subscription emails — Apple invoices, Stripe receipts, domain renewals, telco bills — not invented examples. TRIALS ARE WHERE THE MONEY IS A free trial that converts quietly is the most expensive thing in your inbox. Trials are tracked as their own kind of thing: pinned to the top of Home, with separate alerts 3 days and 1 day before they turn into a charge. BUILT FOR MORE THAN ONE CURRENCY Most trackers assume dollars. Every subscription here keeps its own currency, and totals convert to whichever base you pick. Exchange rates come from the European Central Bank and refresh twice a day, with an offline fallback built in. KEEP OR CANCEL The app can see what you pay. It can't see whether you use it — so it asks. Answer once per subscription and get a cost per use and a straight recommendation. It never cancels anything for you, and for around 60 services it takes you directly to the page where you actually cancel, which is usually the hard part. ALSO IN THE BOX • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets — what's next, when, and the monthly total • Renewal calendar, so you can see the month at a glance • Reminders before every renewal, at a time you choose • 1,000+ services in the catalog, with colours and categories pre-filled • The services popular in your country listed first — local streaming, phone and news subscriptions included • iCloud sync across your devices, in your own private iCloud • CSV export YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS There is no server. Your subscriptions live on your iPhone and, if you want, in your own private iCloud — which we cannot read. Screenshots are processed on-device and never uploaded. The only thing the app ever sends is a list of currency codes to fetch exchange rates. No analytics, no ads, no tracking. PRO — ONE PAYMENT An app arguing that you pay for too many subscriptions has no business forcing another one on you, so Pro leads with a single one-time purchase. Yearly and monthly options exist if you'd rather pay less up front. Free tracks 5 active subscriptions — cancelled ones don't count against it. Pro adds unlimited tracking, the keep-or-cancel review and CSV export. Reminders, widgets, iCloud sync, screenshot scanning and the share sheet are free for everyone, because capturing your subscriptions is the part that has to work before any of this is worth paying for. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: SubSlot at none against Subcut's shown. Subcut's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
