Friction helps you stop doomscrolling by making screen time intentional. Instead of opening distracting apps automatically, Friction asks you to complete a quick challenge first. Do a few push-ups, squats, or a plank, and earn scrolling time on purpose. How it works: • Connect Screen Time and choose the apps you want to control • Complete short physical challenges to unlock access • Earn minutes based on reps and track your progress • Build better habits through small, repeatable actions Why Friction: • Breaks impulsive scrolling loops • Turns “just 5 minutes” into a conscious choice • Helps you train discipline daily, not occasionally • Clean, fast flow designed for real-world use Privacy-first by design: • Exercise detection runs on-device • We do not collect, store, or share your Screen Time data • Challenge processing stays local to your device If you’re serious about reducing mindless scrolling and reclaiming your focus, Friction is built for you. Subscription notice: • Friction uses an auto-renewable subscription to access paid features • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase • Subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period • You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings If you’re serious about reducing mindless scrolling and reclaiming your focus, Friction is built for you. Unlocky

Lock the apps that eat your day. Earn them back with push-ups. Unlocky keeps Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or any app you choose locked with Apple's Screen Time. When you want in, do a quick set in front of your camera: push-ups, squats or jumping jacks. Unlocky counts every rep and checks your form. Finish the set and the app opens for a few minutes of use. Then it locks again. REAL REPS ONLY • Live body tracking counts your reps as you move • Half reps, sagging hips and arm-flapping don't count • Works with the phone beside you or in front of you, and shows you what it sees YOU SET THE PRICE • Choose which exercises unlock apps and how many minutes each set is worth • Earned minutes only count while you actually use the app • Rising price: every unlock costs a bit more than the last one that day • A daily maximum so one binge can't eat your evening NO EASY WAY AROUND • Locked apps are locked in Safari too • Unlocks end on their own: the app locks again when your minutes are used up PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking • The camera is analyzed live on your iPhone. No video or photo is ever saved or sent anywhere • Unlocky can't see what you do in other apps FREE No subscription and no paywall. Unlocky uses Apple's Screen Time to lock apps. You can turn its access off at any time in the iPhone Settings app. Exercise at your own pace and stop if anything hurts. If you have a health condition, check with a doctor before starting a new exercise routine.
