About

The Pursuit

Features

The Pursuit is an interactive training journal for track and field. Throwing, running, jumping, lifting. You log the work, and the app reads it back to you: personal records, session bests, weekly volume, and trends that only speak when your data actually supports them. LOG. Marks, throw counts, RPE (effort), lift work, sleep, readiness, and the technical cues you felt that day. It takes seconds, and it works offline at the track. You can voice log a session and review every word before anything is saved. Already have a program from your coach? Upload it as a PDF, plain text, or even a screenshot, and it fills in your lift days to match how you actually train. BUD, YOUR TRAINING READ. Analysis with receipts. Bud shows you what changed, how confident it is, and exactly which sessions each claim comes from. No hype: a one week blip stays quiet, a two week pattern is a Maybe, and a full block of evidence earns an Observation. INTENTIONAL STATISTICS. PRs, season bests, volume by week, month, and year, lift maxes, and graphs you can customize for every discipline. Each training day carries a Day Load score built from the work itself: throws taken, contacts, tonnage moved. Strain reads from your sport's own numbers, not just heart rate or how hard it felt. External load, rated effort, and wearable recovery each get their own honest lane, side by side in your history. VELOCITY. Log bar speed with your lifts and the journal turns it into power. Watts across your loads, an estimated 1RM from your own load and velocity curve, and power tracked over time next to the marks it exists to move: throw distance, sprint speed, jump distance. Strength is the input. The event is the output. Velocity is where they meet. CORRELATIONAL READS. See which of your own numbers move together across weeks: lifts against marks, volume against load, recovery against output. Honest association, never a prescription. Correlation, not cause, with the receipts one tap away. WEARABLES. Connect WHOOP or Oura and your sleep, recovery, and strain land right beside the training they explain. COACHING. Coaches build a roster with a join code and athletes link in seconds. A coach sees your training exactly as you logged it, and can never change it. This is a journal for athletes chasing something specific. Put more into the pursuit, and get more back from it. Your data stays yours.
