White Stone
Read full descriptionHide full description
White Stone is a mental tracking app that helps spiritual practitioners track the goodness of their thoughts & actions throughout their day. This track record is intended to spark joy and inspiration, as users reflect on their past good actions. It allows the user to: - log a White Stone or Black Stone, based on the user's mental state during a bodily, verbal or mental action - log whether the emotional root was based on renunciation, kindness, gentleness or other emotions that the user can create - log whether the emotion was strong or weak - add a response to a reflection question, inspired by a series of Buddhist reflection questions - review and see patterns over time The app stores all data locally on the device: nothing gets shared nor sold, and is completely private to the user. --- This app is inspired by Upagupta, the spiritual teacher of the ancient Indian Emperor Ashoka. “Upagupta … was a native of the Madura country. His instructor … told him to keep black and white pebbles. When he had a bad thought he was to throw down into a basket a black pebble; when he had a good thought he was to throw down a white pebble. Upagupta did as he was told. At first bad thoughts abounded, and black pebbles were very numerous. Then the white and black were about equal. On the seventh day there were only white pebbles. (His instructor) then undertook to expound to him the four truths.” - Chinese Buddhism, Joseph Edkins, 1893, p.68

FallGuard keeps your family safe by detecting falls and streaming live vitals from your loved one's Apple Watch to your phone — instantly. ALERTS THAT GET THROUGH A fall alert can reach you even when your phone is silenced or in Do Not Disturb. Most apps go quiet at night — the one time a fall is most likely to go unnoticed. FallGuard doesn't. You'll be asked once whether to allow this, and you can turn it off anytime. LIVE VITALS, ON YOUR DASHBOARD See heart rate, breathing, and blood oxygen as the watch reads them. Open the app and the latest readings are waiting for you. CUSTOM ALERT LEVELS Set the limits that matter for the person you're watching over. Heart rate above 100? Below 50? Oxygen below 92%? Their watch fires an alert the moment any value crosses your threshold — no waiting hours for the next summary. FALL DETECTION When the wearer's Apple Watch detects a fall, FallGuard immediately sends an urgent push notification with the time and GPS location to all caregivers. No checking email, no delays — an instant alert right on your iPhone. ONE PERSON, ONE CARD The redesigned dashboard shows a big card for each person you're watching over — their name, status, and last update at a glance. Tap a card for full details. SIMPLE SETUP Pick whether you're wearing the watch or someone else is, and the app shows you the right experience. Add a person with their family code and you're done — no jargon, no menus to dig through. WHO IT'S FOR Adult children watching over aging parents. Caregivers monitoring patients. Anyone who wants real-time visibility into a family member's health and safety, without waking up at night wondering if they're okay. PRIVACY Vitals data only flows to caregivers who joined with your family code. Apple Watch handles fall detection and emergency calling at the OS level — FallGuard never replaces that, only supplements it with family-side awareness. REQUIREMENTS • An Apple Watch with watchOS 10 or later for the wearer • An iPhone running iOS 17 or later for caregivers • HealthKit and Notifications permissions We'd love your feedback. Reach us at support@fallguard.me. A FULL DAY OF HEALTH, NOT JUST A MOMENT FallGuard records vitals throughout the day and keeps a history, so you can see trends over time — not just a single stale reading. Compare this week to last to catch changes early. KNOW THE WATCH IS WORKING See at a glance whether the watch is worn, off, or charging, plus its battery and your loved one's phone battery — so you always know whether "no update" means all is well or the watch just needs putting on.
