Replay your GPS tracks, compare run lengths, and see your all-time time on foil record highlighted in green. Built for the Watch Face Add the Endless Waves complication to your watch face for one-tap session starts from the water. Session History on Your iPhone Every session syncs to your iPhone with full GPS maps, per-run breakdowns, top speed, average speed, and time on foil. Your all-time best run lives on the Record tab — waiting to be broken. BreakFinder

BreakFinder Foil tracks your prone foiling sessions automatically on your Apple Watch. Not recycled surf logic — a detection pipeline rebuilt from the ground up for the biomechanics of foiling. AUTOMATIC FLIGHT DETECTION No buttons. No guessing. A sensor-fusion algorithm tuned to foiling detects every phase of your ride. Takeoff, flight, and pumping are recognised and logged automatically — including connected rides where pump chains keep you flying. WHAT GETS LOGGED • Flight count and total flight time • Pump cycles per flight • Connected ride chains • Touchdown count for progression tracking • Top speed and distance • GPS track and heart rate for every session 5-STATE DETECTION ENGINE Developed from motion-science research, the FSM moves through Idle → Paddling → Takeoff → Foiling → Pumping and back. FFT-based pump detection locks onto your personal pump frequency. Variance-collapse flight detection catches the clearest positive foil signal. Two-stage tripod takeoff detection eliminates false positives from surf pop-ups. OFFLINE CALIBRATION Select short, medium, or long wave period before the session. The app calibrates pump-frequency expectations without any internet connection — works in the lineup, not just at the pier. RUNS ON YOUR APPLE WATCH Detection runs on-device, standalone — no phone needed in the lineup. One free BreakFinder account keeps your foil history. YOUR FOIL LOG, ON YOUR PHONE Sessions sync automatically to the BreakFinder iPhone app — mapped, charted, and ready to review. Flight count, pump cycles, speed, and GPS track at a glance. Your complete foil history in one place. PRIVACY FIRST Works offline during sessions. No tracking, no ad cookies. GDPR/DSGVO compliant. Delete your account anytime from inside the app. Built by foilers, for foilers. breakfinder.surf
