Ateeq is a Hajj and Umrah guide, step by step: an app for the pilgrim that shows you at every station of Umrah and Hajj what to do, what to say and what to watch for, as explained by Shaykh Abdulaziz ibn Baz, may Allah have mercy on him, with a tawaf counter, a sa'i counter, the duas of the rites in their places and an ihram alert on the plane, all working offline. Umrah and Hajj, station by station • Umrah in ten stations, from preparing to travel, ihram at the miqat and the talbiyah to tawaf, sa'i and leaving ihram. • Hajj in eleven stations, from ihram and the Day of Tarwiyah to Arafah, Muzdalifah, the stoning of the Jamarat, tawaf al-ifadah and the farewell tawaf, in all three forms: tamattu', qiran and ifrad. • Every station is split into Do, Say, Watch for, What if and For women, with its sources. Tawaf counter and sa'i counter • The tawaf counter draws the Kaaba and where you are in the circuit, with the sunnahs of each circuit and what to say between the Yemeni Corner and the Black Stone. • The sa'i counter knows where you are between Safa and Marwah and puts the remembrance for each in front of you. • One tap per circuit with a light tap of the phone, the count is kept when the prayer starts, and the screen stays on until you finish. The ihram alert on the plane • Choose your route and arrival time, and a notification tells you to get ready, then another when it is time to enter ihram, even with the app closed. • The five miqats and who enters ihram where. Hajj and Umrah duas and dua trusts • The duas of the rites in their places: ihram, the talbiyah, tawaf, sa'i, the Day of Arafah, al-Mash'ar al-Haram and the stoning. • Thirty topics and more than 450 supplications, with search, favourites and your own duas. • Dua trusts: note who asked you to pray for them and what they asked, and find the list waiting for you on Safa and Marwah, in tawaf and on the Day of Arafah. Preparing for Hajj and Umrah • A checklist of what to pack and prepare before you travel, starting with the heart, then knowledge, the bag and the papers, with room for your own items. Hijri calendar and tasbih • Hijri and Gregorian dates together, a converter between the calendars on the Umm al-Qura calendar, the days of Hajj with their dates, and a count to the Day of Arafah. • A tasbih counter that counts your dhikr with a tap, towards a target you choose, with a tap of the phone when a round is complete. A touch of faith • A pause at every station, a verse or hadith for its moment, a daily glimpse on the home screen, and a welcome with the talbiyah. A quick tour and a look of your own • A short tour introduces the app on first launch, and More opens it again whenever you like. • Six refined colour palettes or colours of your own, in light or dark mode, in Arabic and English. • Text sizes for the app and the duas, bolder text, higher contrast, wider line spacing, reduced motion, and screen readers announce every circuit. Your privacy • Ateeq collects no data and needs no account and no internet. Everything you write stays on your device. It is free. For pilgrims on Hajj or Umrah, for anyone accompanying their parents, and for anyone preparing for a first Umrah or a first Hajj.
