The run is yours alone. Dagg is a running app with nothing to perform for. No feed, no followers, no kudos, no leaderboards. Just you, the ground you cover, and a quiet record of it. Track your run with GPS. Watch it drawn back as a shape. Race your past routes: your own ghost, not a stranger's. Hear a calm voice only when it helps, a hill ahead or a fading pace, and silence the rest of the time. ON YOUR WRIST Dagg runs on Apple Watch, on its own. Start from your wrist and leave the phone at home: time, distance and pace on the watch, heart rate alongside, a haptic at every kilometre. The run reaches your iPhone by itself when you get back. Bring the phone instead and the watch becomes a mirror of it, with a tap on the wrist for every coaching cue. THE CORE IS FREE, AND COMPLETE No trial, no account, no crippled features. Install it and run. • GPS tracking that keeps going in your pocket, with a Live Activity on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island • Every run saved as a shape, not a number to beat • Race your previous routes as ghosts • Voice coaching spoken by the phone itself: hills, fatigue, splits, pace • Auto-pause that catches the moment you stopped and back-dates it, so your moving time stays honest • Splits, elevation, and an honest read of where you faded and where you kicked • Write to Apple Health if you want it, and export any run as GPX • Square, honest, monospace design. Less, deliberately. DAGG PRO (optional subscription) When you're training toward something, a 5K, a 10K, a half, a first marathon, Dagg builds a week-by-week plan paced to your current fitness and re-fits it after every run from how that run went. • A plan to your goal race, paced to where you are now • A suggested next run, each day • Guided workouts spoken as you run them: the warmup, every rep, every recovery, each at its own pace • Change a session you have not run yet, and the plan fits around your change instead of writing over it • Re-fits after every run, and tells you what it changed • After every run, plan or no plan, your coach reads it against your recent weeks • Choose how the coach speaks: Direct, Steady or Warm • Optional cloud sync, so a new phone starts where you left off • One week free, then yours to keep or leave, anytime It runs on real machines, so it costs something to keep going. The subscription pays for that, and nothing more. WHAT DAGG LEAVES OUT No feed. No followers. No kudos. No streaks. No guilt. Nothing you run is ever made public. Your runs are recorded and kept on your phone. Cloud sync is off until you switch it on, and you can delete the stored copy whenever you like. The run stays free. Always. Dagg Pro is an auto-renewable subscription. • Length: 1 month or 1 year, renewing each period until you cancel • A 1-week free trial first if your Apple ID has not had one, then the price for your country, shown before you subscribe • Where Apple offers it, the yearly plan can be paid in 12 monthly payments. That is a 12-month commitment: cancelling stops the renewal, but in most countries the remaining payments are still due. • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. • The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. • Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID account settings. • Any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. About

Weightfile

Most weight apps show you a number that lies. It jumps two pounds overnight because you ate late, and you spend the day feeling like you failed. Weightfile ignores the daily number. It tracks the 7-day trend — the only line that actually moves when your body does. ONE ENTRY A DAY Step on the scale, type the number, close the app. No food database, no barcode scanner, no logging every meal. Weight is required. Calories and macros are optional. THE TREND IS THE HERO Your raw daily entries sit in the background as faint data. The bold line is the 7-day rolling average, computed over calendar days — so a skipped weekend shows up as a gap instead of quietly disappearing. A FILE, NOT A FEED Your progress is kept as a case file with a status stamped on it: GETTING STARTED. ACTUALLY TRYING. VISIBLE EFFORT. PLATEAUED. OFF TRACK. The status is earned from your trend and your streak — not handed out for opening the app. A CLERK, NOT A CHEERLEADER Every day the file gets one line from a records clerk who has heard every excuse before: "Up a kilo overnight? That's last night's takeout, not fat. Come back tomorrow." "Plateau. The body's testing whether you actually mean it." "Trend's dropping. This was supposed to be a bulk, not an accidental cut." No emoji. No exclamation marks. No congratulating you for existing. CUT, BULK OR MAINTAIN Pick a goal and everything reads against it. A drop is progress on a cut and a problem on a bulk, and the app knows the difference. Change your goal later and your history isn't rewritten — every logged day keeps the goal it was logged under. ALSO IN THE FILE • Weigh-in streak, stamped on the dashboard • Calendar history, day by day • Optional calories, protein, fat and carbs against your own targets • Progress photos attached to the day • Reminders for the weigh-in, the macros, and a streak about to break • kg or lb • English and Polish YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE No account. No sign-up. No cloud. Every entry, photo and setting lives in an on-device store, and the whole app works in airplane mode. FREE, AND FREE WHERE IT COUNTS Logging your weight and watching the trend work is free forever, with no crippled math and no ads. A week of history comes with it. One optional purchase opens the full case file: unlimited history, calorie and macro logging, progress photos, switching between cut, bulk and maintain, and the complete clerk's voice. One payment, once. No subscription. Weightfile is a logbook, not medical advice. If something on the scale worries you, talk to a doctor, not a records clerk.

Verdict

The call

Dagg and Weightfile are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
