Measured is a strength coach that adapts to you: your equipment, the areas you tell it to avoid, and the exact weights you lifted last session. No generic plans or guessing which dumbbells to grab when your plan says "medium weights." No guesswork; just load the app and work out. Progress over process. HOW IT WORKS Tell Measured where you like to work out, what equipment you have available, your preferred schedule, and any injuries, and the app will recommend a program and build a plan around you. The programs are structured and phased, and the app uses AI to adapt each one to you. Every set arrives with a specific weight to load, adjusted from your real performance, not a percentage of a number you typed in months ago. The app adapts; it doesn't make guesses. BUILT FOR REAL TRAINING - Programs for every setup: commercial gyms, home gyms with a few dumbbells, and bodyweight - Flag a knee, shoulder, or back and it suggests movements that avoid that area. Every swap is shown, and you can keep the original - A progression engine that raises (or lowers) weights based on how your last session actually went - One tap per exercise to rate effort, 6 to 10. Nothing to type, all session - Warm-ups and cool-downs matched to the day's movements Measured is not physical therapy and does not diagnose anything. Substitutions come from how movements load the body, not from clinical review. If something hurts, stop and talk to a professional. ON YOUR WRIST Start the workout on your phone and pick it up on your wrist. The Watch shows the weight and reps for the set you're on, logs your sets, runs your rest timer, and reads live heart rate. YOURS, PRIVATELY No account to create. No feed. Your training history lives on your device and syncs through your own iCloud. Crash diagnostics are anonymous. If you allow tracking when the app asks, a device identifier, your trial or purchase, and how you use the app are shared with our advertising partners to measure our ads. Your workouts, weights and health details are never shared for advertising. TRY IT FREE Eligible new subscribers start with a 14-day free trial. After that, Measured is a monthly or annual subscription. I built Measured during parental leave because, as a busy dad with a demanding day job, I wanted a real strength program without turning every workout into homework. It's the app I wanted to use myself. Questions or a bug to report? Tap Report a Bug in the app and it comes straight to me. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Break The Loop at none against Measured's shown. Break The Loop also leads on ratings volume (38 vs 3) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Measured's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
