Interval is a daily practice journal for whatever you play. Start a session and the timer runs. A metronome, a drone, notes and voice memos are one tap away without leaving it — so you never stop practicing to go and find a tool. Guitar, bass and ukulele also get a tuner and scale diagrams drawn along the neck. WHAT YOU GET • A practice timer that keeps running while you use everything else • A metronome with four click sounds and its own volume • A drone in any of twelve keys • Notes and voice memos, to catch an idea while you are playing • A tuner, on the instruments that have strings to tune • Scales, chords and short theory written for people teaching themselves • A calendar that fills in as you play, and a streak that does not shame you PICK WHAT YOU PLAY Guitar, bass, piano or keyboard, ukulele, or anything else. The tools follow your choice. Nothing pretends to be something it is not: there is no keyboard diagram, and no sheet music. LEARNING WITH A TEACHER? If your teacher uses Interval, they give you a six-digit code. That is the whole setup — no email, no password. Your teacher can set the week's practice: a few tasks, a time on each, and a line about what to listen for. Tap start and you are in the usual session screen, with each task keeping its own time against its own target. It saves to your journal by itself, and your teacher sees the time you put in without you having to tell them. YOUR PRACTICE STAYS YOURS No account to make, no analytics, no tracking, no ads. Unless you connect to a teacher, there is no Interval server for your practice to go to at all. What you write stays on your phone unless you choose to share a page with your teacher, and your recordings never leave it at all. You can disconnect, or delete your account and everything sent from it, from Settings at any time. A copy of your journal is kept in your own iCloud so a lost phone does not cost you your history. You can switch that off in one tap. Recordings are never included. INTERVAL PRO Interval Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks your full practice history, the guided drills and reference, and the tempo trainer. It is $7.99 per month, or $49.99 per year with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
