SonusQuest vs Glance Away

SonusQuest: Turn your phone into a real-time in-ear monitor — it captures the sound around you, removes noise, boosts your voice, and plays it back through your earphones so you can hear yourself while live streaming. It can be used to practice pronunciation, reading aloud, singing, aiding memorization, DAF (Delayed Auditory Feedback) therapy for stuttering, and more. Some users with hearing loss use it as a hearing aid; we suggest such users treat this app as an introduction to hearing aids rather than a replacement for one. 1. Supports both wired earphones and Bluetooth earphones 2. Supports the phone's built-in microphone, wired earphone microphones, and lavalier (clip-on) microphones 3. Hearing protection: automatically lowers output power when a sudden loud sound is detected 4. Set an interval (5–60 min), tap Start, and Glance Away counts down silently in the background. When break time arrives, a beautiful full-screen overlay guides you through a 20-second eye rest: look 20 feet away and let your eyes recover. Built around the 20-20-20 eye health rule — every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Ophthalmologists recommend this rhythm to reduce digital eye strain for anyone who works at a screen.
