Glance Away vs VelaPlay

Glance Away helps you remember to step away from your screen — fast to start, zero setup, works entirely offline. Set an interval (5–60 min), tap Start, and Glance Away counts down silently in the background. When break time arrives, a beautiful full-screen overlay guides you through a 20-second eye rest: look 20 feet away and let your eyes recover. Built around the 20-20-20 eye health rule — every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Ophthalmologists recommend this rhythm to reduce digital eye strain for anyone who works at a screen. The core screen break timer works immediately, with no account required. Pro upgrade unlocks: • Named presets — save your favourite interval and break combinations • 7-day break history — see your weekly compliance at a glance • Smart schedule — set active hours so reminders only fire when you are working Fully offline. No data collection. No tracking. No ads. Terms of Use (EULA): https://obelisk.club/screenbreaktimer/terms
