FlowTune

Learn your songs more easily with your YouTube tutorials. FlowTune turns the video tutorials you already use into a dedicated piano practice experience. Work on difficult passages, repeat them on a loop, slow down or speed up videos, and keep practicing without interruptions. Work on difficult passages A-B Loop Select exactly the passage you want to practice and loop it automatically. No more manually rewinding the video every time. Flash Loop Loop a passage and let FlowTune gradually increase the playback speed after each repetition. Start slowly, then watch the speed increase as you improve. Speed Control Slow down a tutorial to break down a difficult passage or gradually speed it up when you're ready to go further. Keep track of your practice FlowTune automatically records your practice time, sessions, and work on each song. Look back at your history over days, months, and years to see the work you've actually put in. Save your passages Save the passages you want to practice again later. When you come back to a song, quickly restore the loops you created before. Practice by ear Hide the video and keep the audio to practice a passage without watching the notes or movements in the tutorial. Organize your repertoire Import your YouTube tutorials, find your songs in your repertoire, and organize them according to your progress. When you consider a song mastered, add it to your mastered repertoire. A progressive practice method For those who like a clear progression, FlowTune offers a four-step method: Exploration — 0.5× Discover the movements and find the notes. Stabilization — 0.75× Work on coordination and rhythm. Mastery — 1.0× Play the song at its original tempo. Automation — 1.25× Strengthen your mastery by playing beyond the original tempo. For pianists who learn with video tutorials Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate pianist, FlowTune is designed to turn the tutorials you already use into a dedicated practice space. Less phone handling. More repetition. A practice history that remembers your progress. Fingerchase helps you practice piano with sheet music, falling notes, and synchronized keyboard hints. Play a piece, adjust the tempo, or repeat a selected passage. Your practice position and history are saved on your device so you can continue later. iPhone Duo, unfolded and partially folded • Use the unfolded inner display for scores and keyboard hints. • When partially folded, keep the score above and practice controls, keyboard or falling notes below. Free Practice follows the same screen partition rules. • Practice settings use the full screen; the metronome places its display above its controls. Fold transitions retain your practice position and show rotation guidance when alignment is needed. Scores and keyboard hints • Switch between staff notation and falling notes with synchronized keyboard hints. • Read full-screen pages that adapt to portrait and landscape. • Drag through the waterfall to seek; playback resumes after you finish seeking if it was already playing. Playback and passage practice • Practice the left or right hand, then bring both hands together. • Drag to adjust playback speed and see the current setting. • Set an A–B loop to repeat a selected passage. • Continue from your last position or start again. • Open Free Practice and the metronome without choosing a piece. Practice history and sharing Review practice time and history by day, month, or year. Explore on-device achievements and save pieces to your favorites. After practice, save or share a results poster that contains no piece titles, notation, or recordings. Personal scores and music theory Import MusicXML, MXL, or MIDI to use the same reading, playback, and practice tools. Piece details show supported tonal information, with paths to learn scales, scale degrees, and keys. Notation derived from MIDI performance data may differ from the original printed score. Share ideas in the forum Search questions, suggestions, and discussions. Comment, agree or disagree, and follow the developer's public progress. Your feedback helps us understand what you need. Reading needs no account; posting and interacting require Sign in with Apple. Experimental tools Image/PDF score recognition, microphone score following, and solo-piano audio transcription are experimental. Results depend on input quality, pedal use, polyphony, and noise. Please check the results before use. Microphone following helps locate your place in the score; it does not assess technique or mastery. Data, accounts, and network use Everyday practice needs no account.
