Put the phone to bed, and get your sleep back. Sleep Focus locks distracting apps from the bedtime you pick until the wake time you pick — and unlocks them by itself, free, every morning. "Just five more minutes" keeps turning into 2 a.m.? Sleep Focus swaps willpower for a simple system. You set a sleep window once, and your apps rest while you do. WHAT IT DOES Locks from bedtime to wake time - Pick a bedtime and a wake time. That's the whole setup. - Distracting apps stop opening for the window you chose. - Sleep Focus blocks broadly rather than app by app, so there's no per-app picker to fuss with at bedtime. - Built on Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls), so the lock holds. A free unlock every morning - At your wake time the lock ends automatically. - No payment, no conditions, no button to press. Every single day. - A single lock runs between 1 and 12 hours and never longer, so morning always arrives. Calls and texts are never locked - Calls, texts and emergency dialing keep working the whole time. - You stay reachable for the people and the moments that matter. The schedule is fixed once the lock starts - After bedtime you can't move the times until morning. - That's the whole point: 1 a.m. you doesn't get to overrule 10 p.m. you. Early unlock, if you truly need it (optional) - Something urgent came up? A small one-time purchase ends tonight's lock right away. - It's a consumable in-app purchase, not a subscription, and the price is shown before you buy. - It works as a speed bump — "is this worth paying for?" is a surprisingly good question at 1 a.m. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU INSTALL Sleep Focus is a self-control tool that you set up yourself. It never holds your phone hostage. - The lock only ever runs during the window you set yourself. - At your wake time it unlocks automatically, at no cost. - Turning off the Screen Time permission in iOS Settings, or deleting the app, ends the lock at any time. - The paid early unlock is optional and is never required to get out. WHO IT'S FOR - You keep doomscrolling short videos and social feeds long past bedtime - Your sleep keeps getting shorter because your phone is in your hand - Willpower on its own hasn't worked and you want something with teeth - You're building a steadier sleep routine, or a real digital detox - You want less screen time at night without policing yourself all evening GOOD TO KNOW - Requires iOS 16 or later. - App locking uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) permission, which you grant yourself during setup. - Notifications are used to bring you back to Sleep Focus from a locked app. - Sleep Focus does not measure or track your sleep. It just gets the phone out of your hands so you can. - No account and no sign-up. QUESTIONS OR FEEDBACK Something not working, or an idea for what's next?
