OdaViewer
Read full descriptionHide full description
The companion for Oda on the Mac. OdaViewer brings your Oda archive to iPhone and iPad. Browse your folders, search across everything, and preview your documents โ the same structure you keep on your Mac. And now it writes back. Notes aren't read-only anymore: write them, edit them, tick things off, in the same editor you have on the Mac. Same format bar, same headings, same checklists. Tap into a note to write, swipe the keyboard down to read it as a clean page. Dictation works inside lists โ dictate an item, say return, dictate the next one. It's the same note on both machines. It also captures. Scan a document, pick a photo, grab a file, write a note, or share a PDF straight from another app. OdaViewer holds it until your phone and Mac meet on your local network, then sends it over โ where it's waiting on your Mac for you to file. What you capture stays visible under Captured until it's filed. A capture you can't lose. Everything syncs over your local Wi-Fi with Bonjour. No cloud, no account โ your documents stay between your own devices. โ Write and edit notes, on the device โ Browse, search, and preview your whole archive โ Capture: Scan, Note, Photos, Files, and share from other apps โ Library, Tags, Stickies, and Binders, matching your Mac โ Local sync over Bonjour โ no cloud involved Requires Oda for Mac. Sync needs both devices on the same local network.

You saved it because it mattered. Then it sat there. Stash gets you through it. Save an article, and Stash reads it aloud on your iPhone while you cook, commute, or walk the dog. The pile gets smaller in the hours you already have. NO METER Other readers sell you minutes. Stash has no server, so there is nothing to meter. Save two articles or two hundred. Listen to all of them. No word counts, no monthly minutes, no upgrade wall. READS IN YOUR LANGUAGE Stash detects the language of every article and reads it in that language. A German essay, a Japanese blog post, and an English newsletter can sit in the same queue. The natural voice speaks 27 languages: Arabic, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese. Every other language uses the voice built into your iPhone. READY BEFORE YOU ARE Audio is generated in the background the moment you save. Put in your earbuds and it is already waiting. No buffering, no spinner. WORKS WHERE PODCASTS DO NOT The reader, the voice, and the queue all live on your phone. Airplane mode, the subway, a dead zone in the hills. Nothing changes. THE QUEUE EMPTIES ITSELF Finish an article and it moves to the archive on its own. Favorite the ones you want to keep. No tidying, no ritual. NO NONSENSE No account. No onboarding. No ads. No tracking. No subscription. No limits. Download it, share an article from Safari, press play. That is the whole setup. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Stash from the share sheet, a pasted link, or plain text - Listen to a natural on-device voice in 27 languages, or read along with the text - Drag to reorder the queue, or send something to the top - Speed and a sleep timer. Nothing else to configure. - Export any article. It is your data. - Sync across your devices with iCloud. No iCloud? Stash still works. BUILT TO LAST We build every version as if it is the last one we will ever ship. There is no server, so nothing leaves your phone, and the Stash on your phone keeps working without us. One purchase. Every update included, including better voices when better open models land. Made by two people who wanted a read-later app that respects them. SUPPORT / FEEDBACK / CONTACT Questions or feedback? Verdict
The clearest difference is price: OdaViewer at Free against Stash's $19.99. Stash's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
