Tenets vs Indebox

Most planning tools optimise for output. Tenets starts with your values — and works backwards to what your year should actually look like. Tenets is a private, on-device life planning tool for people who want to live deliberately, not just productively. VALUES FIRST Before you plan a single goal, Tenets asks what your life stands for. Three reflective questions — with on-device Apple Intelligence to suggest values if you want the help — become the three to five principles everything else serves. Every domain you plan links back to a value, so your year is grounded in what matters, not just what's measurable. ANNUAL OKRS FOR YOUR LIFE Domains replace teams. Objectives stay ambitious. Key results stay honest. The framework that runs great organisations, applied to the one project that actually matters. A guided wizard proposes a full year structure in minutes — you decide what stays. A WEEKLY PULSE Ninety seconds. Energy level, a theme, values alignment, a short note — typed or dictated. The compound effect of staying honest with yourself, week by week. The dashboard tells you when a pulse is due; the widget keeps your progress on your desk. A MONTHLY REVIEW Rate each key result, then talk it through with the council — four on-device AI personas (the Auditor, the Scientist, the Witness, the Philosopher) that read your actual data and ask the questions a good coach would. Every review becomes a written record you can revisit. A LONG VIEW Time Machine shows year-over-year trends, monthly activity heatmaps, and key result history — the shape of your years, not just the last 30 days. IN SYNC, PRIVATELY Your plan follows you — Mac, iPhone, iPad — synced through your own private iCloud. No account with us, no server of ours, no analytics. All AI runs on-device with Apple Intelligence (macOS 26 / iOS 26; every feature has a full manual path without it). Works fully offline without iCloud, and your data is exportable as plain JSON at any time. BUILT FOR THE KEYBOARD ⌘K jumps to any domain, objective, or key result. ⌘1–⌘5 switch views. ⌘N logs a pulse, ⌘⇧R starts a review, ⌘Z undoes. Deliberate planning at the speed of thought. Now on Mac, iPhone, and iPad.

indexbox is a minimalist note-taking tool designed for fleeting thoughts and fragmented inspiration. You know the feeling — walking, lying in bed, waiting for coffee — a thought flashes through your mind. Too quick to categorize, too fleeting to open a bloated note app. indebox is made for those very gaps. 【WRITE FIRST, FILE INSTANTLY】 Open the app and you'll see your "Draft Paper" at the bottom — an infinite white canvas. Jot down any thought, then simply tap one of the category blocks above to file it away. No extra steps, no complex folder hierarchies, no hesitation-inducing dialogs. 【36 DIMENSIONS OF THOUGHT】 Psychology, Relationships, Movies, Business, Art, Life, Inspiration, Musings… 36 preset categories cover every dimension of your life and thinking. Each block is an independent space, and you can rename any of them to make it truly yours. 【DATA VISUALIZATION】 Each category block contains a mini trajectory chart — an inspiration curve drawn from your note count and content length over time. Instantly sense your thinking activity in any area, and even scrub across the chart with your finger to preview past notes. 【WATERFALL BROWSING】 Enter any block to see your notes displayed in a 4-column waterfall layout. Cards of varying lengths arrange naturally, like a wall of inspiration. Each card features a unique clipped corner design, with bold type for short notes and fine print for longer ones. 【MINIMALIST BLACK & WHITE】 No flashy colors, no unnecessary decoration. Pure black backgrounds, gray-white blocks, and a white draft paper — Gap Diary pursues the raw power of content itself. Every pixel and every blank space exists for a purpose. 【YOUR PRIVACY, RESPECTED】 • All data stored entirely on your device • No personal information collected • No ads, no tracking, no third-party SDKs • No registration required, no internet needed Indebox isn't just another note app. It's an inspiration catcher in your pocket, a collection box for fragments of thought. In every gap, let your ideas find their home.
