Turn your iPhone or iPad into a remote for the TV you already own. It works over Wi-Fi instead of infrared, so there is nothing to point, and it works from any room. WORKS WITH • Google TV: Sony, TCL, Philips, Xiaomi, Hisense and Sharp TVs, NVIDIA SHIELD and Chromecast with Google TV • Samsung smart TVs (Tizen, 2016 and newer) • LG smart TVs (webOS) • Hisense and Toshiba VIDAA TVs • Roku players and Roku TVs • Chromecast: volume, mute and playback only FEATURES • Large D-pad with an OK key you can hit without looking • Volume, mute, channels, back, home and power • Play, pause, rewind and fast forward • Type with your iPhone's keyboard instead of the TV's on-screen one • Voice search: say it instead of typing it • One-tap shortcuts to Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and Disney+ • Turn many TVs on from standby • Reconnects by itself if your router gives the TV a new address • Rename your TVs; the connected one is marked in green QUICK SETUP Connect to the same Wi-Fi as your TV, open the app and pick your TV from the list. Depending on the brand, you type the code shown on the TV or press Allow on the TV. You do this once; after that it connects straight away. BEFORE YOU INSTALL • Your iPhone and TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network. • Fire TV and Vizio TVs cannot yet be controlled. • Some TVs ship with network control switched off. • The app is available in 22 languages. PRIVACY The app asks for permission to find devices on your local network. That is how it finds your TV, and the only thing it is used for. Commands go straight from your device to your TV; there is no account and no server. FREE, WITH ADS The app is free and supported by ads. Ads appear between screens, never in the middle of a key press. In Europe and the UK you are asked before any ad is requested. Remove ads with a monthly, 3-month or yearly subscription or a one-time purchase; every feature stays free. A subscription is charged to your Apple ID and renews until cancelled, which you can do at any time in your Apple ID settings. The one-off does not renew. Google TV and Chromecast are trademarks of Google LLC. Samsung, LG, webOS, Roku, Hisense, VIDAA and the other names are trademarks of their owners. This app is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.
