PACT
Read full descriptionHide full description
PACT is a minimalist focus timer built on a single, uncompromising idea: a commitment you either keep or consciously break. ■ THE EXCEPTION SYSTEM: ZERO EXCUSES What makes PACT radically different is how it handles interruptions. You cannot simply pause the timer and walk away. Every break in focus forces a permanent choice: • Allow an Exception: You can pause, but your reason becomes a permanent rule for all future sessions. What you allow once, you must allow forever. Your exceptions define who you are as a focuser. • Break the Pact: Surrender entirely, and your accumulated chain instantly resets to zero. There is no neutral option. Over time, your exception rules build an honest, unforgiving record of how you actually work — not how you think you do. ■ DESIGNED FOR DEEP WORK • Pre-Commitment Buffer: Reserve a session in advance. A timed countdown gives you a moment to sit down, complete your start ritual, and mentally prepare before the timer locks in. • Visual Accountability: Every completed session adds an unbreakable link to your chain. Watch it grow. Protect it at all costs. ■ BUILT FOR PURE FOCUS PACT is intentionally minimal. • No social feeds. • No gamified streak animations. • No meaningless badges or rewards. Just you, your word, and the timer. ■ SEAMLESS EXPERIENCE • System-adaptive Light and Dark modes designed to blend into your workflow. • Fully localized in English, 中文 (Chinese), Français (French), and 日本語 (Japanese). PACT is for people who take their commitments seriously. Make the pact. Keep it.

Your pomodoro breaks are making you tired. Five minutes of scrolling turns into forty, and you come back curled up like a shrimp. Shrimpodoro is a pomodoro timer with one rule: your next pomodoro stays locked until you squat. HOW A ROUND WORKS • Focus for 5–120 minutes (25 by default). A tiny hand-drawn version of you types along and slowly curls into a shrimp. • Time's up. The next pomodoro is locked. • Do 5, 10 or 20 squats. Your front camera counts every rep right on your iPhone. Video is never recorded or uploaded, and it works up close, even with your feet out of frame. • A pink tomato drops into your pile, and the next round unlocks. TWO THINGS TO COLLECT • Tomatoes for focus: finish a round and squat for a pink tomato. Skip or give up and it's a black one. They pile up on your home screen all day. • Landmarks for squats: every squat climbs 1 meter. Unlock 38 badges, from a little house to the Eiffel Tower, Mt. Fuji and Everest (8,849 m). ALSO • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, StandBy, and a Dynamic Island timer • Siri: "Start a pomodoro with Shrimpodoro" or "Add 10 minutes in Shrimpodoro" • Day, week, month and year stats • Share your day as an image or a short video • No account, no sign-up. Your history stays on your iPhone. WHY SQUATS Short movement breaks during long sitting are linked to less fatigue and better mood, and a minute of squats every 20 minutes helped keep brain blood flow from dropping during hours of sitting. Standing up alone isn't enough. Moving is. FREE AND PRO Free: unlimited pomodoros and all 38 landmark badges. Shrimpodoro Pro: month and year reports, focus insights (your golden hour, the minute you tend to quit, and whether you’re improving), sharing without a watermark, and the big Tomato Pile and Lock Screen widgets. Monthly, yearly or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage them in your Apple ID settings.
