SoapVox

Turn your post-counseling reflection into a SOAP-format medication note — just by speaking. SoapVox converts a pharmacist's own spoken dictation into a SOAP-structured medication record. By default, recording, transcription, and SOAP organization all run on-device. Your audio recording never leaves the device, and nothing is sent to the developer's servers or to third-party AI services such as OpenAI. Only when you turn on High Accuracy mode are the transcript and generation instructions processed on Apple's Private Cloud Compute. Dictate your reflection in a private area where no other patient or third party can overhear — inside the pharmacy counter, the dispensary, a staff room, or at your desk. [Where it helps] - A quick reflection right after counseling at the pharmacy counter - Dictating observations in the staff room after ward rounds - An end-of-day summary of the day's cases - Reflective learning from cases you experienced [Main features] - Dictation recording in your own voice (up to 5 minutes per session; up to 30 minutes when High Accuracy mode is on and available) - On-device AI transcription - On-device AI SOAP note organization - Optional High Accuracy mode: when you turn it on, SOAP drafts are generated on Apple's Private Cloud Compute (iOS 27 or later) - Pro: generation after you close the app (more likely to finish while charging; on battery, some drafts may be completed the next time you open the app) - Pro: QR code transfer — show a SOAP note as QR codes that your facility's QR reader can scan into a hospital terminal (not an integration with electronic medication-record systems). Switch between Shift_JIS and UTF-8; long notes are split into numbered codes. Free users can try the screen with a sample note to check whether their reader works - Automatic correction of pharmaceutical terms - Custom SOAP templates - Dynamic Island / Lock Screen widget support - Siri Shortcuts support - VoiceOver / Dynamic Type support [Privacy and safety] - On-device processing by default (audio never leaves the device) - AES-GCM encrypted storage (keys protected by the iOS Keychain) - By default, SOAP text and recording metadata are not sent externally. Only when you turn on High Accuracy mode are the transcript and generation instructions processed on Apple's Private Cloud Compute, with your consent - Biometric access control (Face ID / Touch ID) - Your records stay on the device until you delete them [Before you use it] - This app is not a medical device. It is a documentation aid for medication-record work. - AI-generated results are reference information; final review and approval rest with the pharmacist. - Record only in a private area where no other patient or third party can overhear. Choosing the recording location is the user's responsibility. - This app is intended for recording your own spoken reflections. Recording that includes a patient's voice is not part of the app's default behavior.

Write it all down first. Split it later. Simple to use, with everything you need in one notepad. Card-based note apps make you decide where something goes before you write it. Split Notes works the other way round: you write onto one page, and split out what you need afterwards. Filing becomes a decision you can postpone. ■ A cut line marks where a block ends Tap "Insert cut line" in the footer and a dotted line appears wherever the cursor is. The Copy / Share and To delete buttons sit just above each line, and they act on the block above that line only. Press and hold a line to remove it, and the blocks above and below become one again. ■ Tabs instead of folders Each tab holds one continuous page, so everything you wrote earlier stays in view while you type. Press and drag a tab to reorder it: gather the ones you use on the left, and the rest slide off the edge of the screen. Nothing is deleted, so scroll sideways and they come back. The order is the filing. ■ Move the cursor without opening the keyboard You can select text without the keyboard popping up every time you touch the page. Tap the strip along the right edge when you want to write. While the keyboard is up, the Insert cut line button floats just above it, so you can split what you wrote without stopping. ■ We tell you when you repeat yourself Press Search all and the app points out passages you wrote twice within the same tab. Tap a row to jump to the note, with both places lit up in yellow. If it turns out you need both, choose "Don't show" and that pair stops appearing. ■ Also included - Full-text search across every tab, with the match lit up in yellow - Earlier versions: the last 30 are kept for each tab - Pinch with two fingers to resize the text; the size you choose is remembered - Screen lock: swipe the right-edge strip to the left to cover the text. Unlock with Face ID / Touch ID, or your device passcode - Dark mode - A double tap selects a whole alphanumeric run, so 1234-5678, user_name and email addresses are not cut in half ■ Your notes never leave your device What you write is stored only in a database on your iPhone. There is no mechanism for sending it to our servers, and there is no account and no sign-in. The screen lock covers what is on the screen. It is not a vault that encrypts the text itself, so please use a dedicated password manager for anything that needs that level of protection. ■ Price Every feature is there from the start, free. Tabs, cut lines and full-text search are unlimited, and the screen lock and dark mode work as well. The only difference is whether ads appear. Removing them is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: SoapVox at none against Chigiri Memo's shown. Chigiri Memo's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 27.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
