QuietScore measures how much noise your doors and windows actually block: a Sound Isolation Score in about 60 seconds, using your iPhone and a Bluetooth or AirPlay speaker. No lab equipment, no calibration, no sign-up. It is a practical estimate, on a scale comparable to professional STC ratings, and it is the number that tells you whether to sign the lease, whether your conference calls can be heard from the next room, whether the studio treatment worked, or whether last weekend's weatherstripping did anything at all. HOW IT WORKS 1. Put a Bluetooth or AirPlay speaker inside the room 2. Step outside with your phone and take a reading with the door open 3. Close the door and take the second reading The app plays test tones through the speaker and measures how much of them survives the trip through your door or window. Same spot for both readings, only the door changes: your score is the difference between the two, which is why nothing needs calibrating. About 60 seconds once the speaker is connected. WHAT YOU GET โข Sound Isolation Score, one number for the whole door or window โข Privacy Rating: Excellent, Good, Moderate or Poor โข Four-tone breakdown โ 125 Hz, 500 Hz, 1 kHz and 4 kHz, so you can see whether it's bass, HVAC hum or speech that gets through โข Rooms and history โ save each result to a room, add a note about what you changed, and see the difference since the last measurement โข PDF reports โ export a result to hand to a contractor, a landlord or a client LEAK SCANNER Sound rarely comes through the wall. It comes through the gap. Sweep your phone along a door or window frame and the scanner reads the leak live against a baseline spot you set, so you can hear and see the moment it jumps. Mark the hot spots as you find them and they collect into a findings list. Two modes: play a tone from inside, or listen passively to whatever noise is already out there. The scanner locates leaks โ it doesn't score the door. THE FIRST 3 ARE FREE Your first 3 Sound Isolation Scores are free, with no account and no trial clock. After that the measurement still runs and the score unlocks with a plan. A retake spends one of your three; a run we can't stand behind, interrupted or too noisy to trust, doesn't. The app shows what you have left before you start. PLANS โข Home โ unlimited QuietScores, the four-tone breakdown, saved rooms with history and notes, the full Leak Scanner and PDF export โข Studio โ everything in Home, plus raw dB figures and USB reference-microphone support โข Business โ everything in Studio, plus branded, client-ready PDF reports FOR PROFESSIONALS QuietScore Business is built for acoustic consultants, property managers, contractors and studio builders who need a number in front of a client before the expensive work starts, with their own name on the report rather than ours. Measure room by room on a single visit, save each to its own record, and export a branded PDF the same afternoon. Every report carries your logo and company name, with fields for the client, site address, project ID and anything else the job needs. Works with any Bluetooth or AirPlay speaker, on iPhone and iPad. Your measurements stay on your device. The Sound Isolation Score is a practical estimate, measured with your phone instead of lab equipment rather than certified by it. It is the number you use to decide what to fix, show what changed, and give a client an answer the same day. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

We run no servers, so there is nothing of yours on one. A call from our hosting provider started it. They asked whether one of our important addresses had anything to do with a big cloud company โ it didn't. It turned out the mail app we were using was routing through that company to deliver push notifications. We had tried nearly every mail app by then and were never quite happy, so we built our own. Here is why that call mattered. To push a notification for an ordinary IMAP account, an app has to keep your password โ or a token that opens the same door โ on its own server, and watch your mailbox from there. Postfach never does this. Your password stays in your Keychain, and new mail is announced by your own device once it has fetched it: on the Mac within seconds while the app is running, on the iPhone whenever iOS grants a check in the background. Instant push is the one thing we gave up, and that is why. WHAT IT DOES - Any IMAP account: Zimbra, Gmail, and the rest. Zimbra servers are found from the address alone. - Write, reply, forward, and send, with attachments. - All Inboxes: one list over every account, newest first, with each message acting on its own account. - Conversations, with replies from every folder gathered under the message you are looking at. - Every message kept on your device in full, so reading works offline and search finds words anywhere in years of mail in a fraction of a second. - Templates with placeholders for the replies you write again and again. - Folders: create, rename, move, and delete them, on the server. - Swipe to delete, flag, mark as junk, or archive. - New-mail notifications from your own device, once it has fetched, per account, and the unread count on the icon. - HTML mail rendered with scripts off and remote images blocked until you ask for them. - Light and dark appearance. English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, nothing measured and sent anywhere. No AI: no summaries, no smart replies, no sorted inbox, and no model of ours or anyone else's sees a word of your mail. No account with us, because there is nothing to have an account for. That is why the privacy label reads "Data Not Collected", and why there is no setting to turn any of it off: none of it is there. PRICING Every feature is free for 60 days. After that, sending and receiving mail need a single purchase, Postfach Pro โ one price for your Mac, iPhone, and iPad, no subscription. Mail already on your device stays readable and searchable whether you buy or not.
