Constancy
Read full descriptionHide full description
Constancy helps Christians practice the spiritual disciplines in the rhythm of everyday life, training for godliness, by grace. Disciplines like personal devotion, prayer, Scripture reading, fellowship, sabbath, and digital detox aren't a rigid checklist. They're the ways a disciple learns from Jesus and grows to be like him โ faithful, life-giving rhythms that make space for God to work. "Train yourself to be godly" (1 Timothy 4:7) โ not to earn anything, but to place yourself in the path of God's transforming grace. Constancy gives you a gracious, unhurried way to keep those rhythms, one ordinary day at a time. It follows a simple pattern: know, practice, reflect. Know โ discover what to practice, and why Browse a library of spiritual practices rooted in Scripture and the Christian tradition. Each one explains what the practice is, why it matters, and how to begin โ then becomes something you can keep with a single tap. Practice โ keep faithful rhythms Set practices to a rhythm that fits your life โ daily, weekly, or monthly. Name the times and days you have in mind, or leave that open and simply keep it once in the period. Mark them as you go โ or log one you kept earlier but forgot. There are no streaks to break and no scores to chase; a missed day is simply an open door to return. Reflect โ look back Journal alongside your practices, check in with how you're doing, and look back on the rhythm your days have taken. It's a gentle mirror, not a scorecard โ a way to notice how God is shaping you over time. Gentle reminders Set a daily reminder at a time that suits you, and let Constancy quietly help you show up. Walk together Keep a practice alongside a companion โ a friend, a spouse, someone you trust. You each keep your own rhythm; if you choose, a quiet note tells you when the other has shown up. Nothing is public, nothing is scored โ just the encouragement of not walking alone. Constancy is a tool, not a destination. It serves the practice, then gets out of the way โ pointing you toward God and the people around you, not toward itself. It stands in the classical tradition of spiritual formation โ Richard Foster, Dallas Willard, Donald Whitney โ and draws on contemporary voices for living faithfully amid technology and family life: Andy Crouch, Andy Gabruch, and Justin Whitmel Earley. Who it's for Constancy is for Christians who already want to grow in godliness and need a steady, gracious way to actually practice โ day after day, without the practice becoming legalism or drudgery. Your data Everything in Constancy stays private to your account, encrypted in transit and at rest. Constancy doesn't sell your data or track you. You're in control โ delete your account and everything in it at any time from Profile โ Delete Account. Practice the path of grace. Grace is new every morning. "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says." (James 1:22).
Bedtime routine

You finally lie down, and your brain starts going: tomorrow's list, today's replay, one more scroll to avoid both. My Evening is a five-minute bedtime routine that gives the day an ending, so it's finished by the time you go to bed. Every night it's the same three short steps, with nothing to decide: say who you're grateful for, put tomorrow on a list, and take one slow minute of guided breathing. Then you're done for the night. GET TOMORROW OUT OF YOUR HEAD Bed is where tomorrow shows up: the report, the dentist, the text you still owe your mom. Say all of it once, in any order, then pick the one to three things that matter most. In the morning, open the app and your plan is waiting on its first screen, under Today's focus, with those few on top. Only tomorrow, so nothing piles up. END THE DAY ON WHO MADE IT GOOD At night your head replays what went wrong, and the good parts of the day are the first to go. So the routine starts with who you're thankful for, said the way you'd tell a friend: "Josh, for making me laugh on a rough afternoon." A note on your phone could hold the words. My Evening keeps track of the people: it notices who you mean, asks about a new name, and keeps every thank-you with that person. After a few weeks, open My People and you'll see who holds you up, and for what. THE WEEKS STOP BLURRING TOGETHER By Friday, you can't say what Tuesday held. My Evening keeps every evening in History, on its date: tap a day to see who you were grateful for and what you planned. My Numbers counts your evenings, thank-yous and plans. IT ASKS FOR LESS THAN YOU HAVE LEFT If journaling at night has never lasted, there's no page to fill here. If you're too tired to type, talk, and it's written down for you. Typing is always one tap away. Miss a night, and the app just says "Welcome back." Nothing is waiting to catch up on. My Evening is a wellness tool, not a medical device.
