Inhale guides you through short breathing sessions for moments when you want to pause and reset. Choose from 5 guided exercises — Box Breathing used by Navy SEALs, the 4-7-8 method by Dr. Weil, Cyclic Sighing from Stanford research, and more. HOW IT WORKS - Pick a technique and set your number of cycles - Follow the animated breathing circle - Feel gentle haptic vibrations guiding each breath - Close your eyes — your phone guides you BREATHE WITH YOUR EYES CLOSED The haptics carry the rhythm on their own: a tap when to breathe in, a tap when to breathe out, a different pattern for the holds. That means a session works in a meeting room, on a bus or in the dark at three in the morning, with the screen face down and nothing to watch. It is the difference between an app you have to look at and one you can actually use when you need it. THE FIVE TECHNIQUES - Box Breathing — equal 4-4-4-4, sixteen seconds a cycle - 4-7-8 Sleep — a long exhale for winding down - Cyclic Sighing — a double inhale and a long exhale - Coherent Breathing — even five-second breaths, six a minute - Power Breath — fast two-second cycles when you need alertness FEATURES - 5 breathing techniques backed by research - Ambient sounds: rain, ocean, night forest, pink & brown noise - Haptic guidance — breathe without watching the screen - Session tracking with streaks and statistics - Dark, minimal UI — no distractions NO ACCOUNT, NO ADS There is no sign-up, no advertising and no analytics SDK. Your session history stays on your iPhone, and nothing is sent anywhere. LIFETIME UNLOCK Three techniques, all ambient sounds, haptic guidance, and statistics are free. A one-time purchase adds Coherent Breathing and Power Breath. No subscription. Inhale is designed for general wellness and relaxation. It is not a medical device. Breath is a guided breathwork timer and practice journal. Pick a technique, follow the circle as it grows on the inhale and shrinks on the exhale, and save each session with your breath holds, notes and how you felt before and after. 10 TECHNIQUES - Power Breathing and Tummo: choose 1 to 10 rounds of 10 to 60 breaths. After the last breath, the hold timer runs until you tap to breathe in, then a 15-second recovery hold leads into the next round. Each round's hold time is recorded. - Box Breathing: 2 to 12 seconds per side, up to 20 cycles - 4-7-8 Breathing: inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7, exhale for 8, up to 20 cycles - Coherent Breathing: 5.5 seconds in, 5.5 seconds out - Cyclic Sighing, Pranayama, Connected Breathing, Custom and Just Breathe: a simple paced timer with a longer exhale that runs until you end the session - Haptic cues follow the rhythm; set them to Off, Subtle, Standard or Strong YOUR PRACTICE LOG - Rate calm, energy and clarity from 1 to 10 before a session (optional) and after it, and see the change - Each saved session keeps the technique, length, rounds or cycles, hold times and your notes - Home shows this week, this month, total hours, your last session and your day streak - Progress shows your sessions, minutes and best hold, a 30-day activity chart and your recent sessions - An optional daily reminder BREATH PRO - Unlimited sessions (free: your first 7 sessions, with every technique) - Hold Progression: a chart of your best hold in each session over time - State Shift: your average change in calm, energy and clarity per session - Technique Comparison: sessions, average length, average hold and average calm and energy change for each technique - AI Coach: ask breathwork questions in your own words, up to 30 a day. To answer, the app sends your question and a short summary of your last five sessions (technique, minutes, best hold) to an AI service. Answers are general information, not medical advice. - 3 alternate app icons SAFETY Breath is a timer and journal, not a medical device. Before Power Breathing and Tummo sessions the app reminds you: never practice in water or while driving, always sit or lie down, and stop if you feel faint. For Connected Breathing sessions it advises supervision, and not to practice with a cardiovascular condition, epilepsy or during pregnancy. In the US, Breath Pro is $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year (US prices; other countries see their own price in the app). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings.
