E6B Flight Computer CFI Pilot vs Oscar

E6B Flight Computer is the essential aviation calculator for student pilots, CFIs, and cockpit professionals. Built for PPL checkrides, cross country planning, and everyday flight operations — all offline, no internet required. AVIATION CALCULATORS 22 precision calculators covering every phase of flight: Wind & Navigation — Wind correction angle, heading & ground speed, crosswind & headwind components, course & distance between coordinates. Speed & Altitude — True airspeed (TAS), calibrated airspeed (CAS), density altitude, pressure altitude, true altitude, and cloud base estimation using ICAO standard atmosphere formulas. Fuel — Fuel required, endurance, point of no return, and equivalent still air distance. Performance — Weight & Balance with interactive CG envelope chart, top of descent, climb/descent gradient, and percent MAC. Time — Leg time, ETA calculator, and time/speed/distance solver. WEIGHT & BALANCE WITH ENVELOPE CHART Add crew, passengers, fuel, and baggage. The app computes total weight, total moment, and CG position — and plots it live on an interactive envelope chart. The tool every CFI recommends. UNIT CONVERSIONS 9 bidirectional converters: Temperature, Distance (NM/SM/KM), Speed (kt/mph/kph), Altitude (ft/m), Pressure (inHg/hPa), Weight (lb/kg), Volume (gal/L), Avgas weight, and Jet-A weight. COCKPIT CLOCKS & TIMERS Three simultaneous clocks — Zulu (UTC), Local, and Home timezone. Countdown timer with alarm, stopwatch with lap times for leg tracking. HOME SCREEN WIDGETS - Zulu Clock widget — always-on UTC time - Density Altitude widget — current conditions at a glance - Quick Converter widget LIVE ACTIVITY Flight timer countdown on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island — no unlock needed. WORKS COMPLETELY OFFLINE No internet, no account, no server. Every formula runs on-device using pure ICAO Standard Atmosphere calculations.
