Your coach for every set: NAWT Pro tells you your next weight and reps – and why. Logging stays free, no account needed. Up, hold or back off: for every exercise, the coach tells you whether to increase the load, keep the weight or plan a deload. Fixed training rules make that call, not a black box. Apple Intelligence only writes the notes on your iPhone; the numbers come from the rules. FREE VS. PRO. Free, no account, no limits: – Unlimited workouts, sets, custom exercises and manual plans, with notes and RPE/RIR – 300+ exercises, machines included, with technique tips – A starter plan built from your answers – Your full history, down to every single set – PRs, e1RM and tonnage, calculated transparently from your sets – Supersets, set types, plate calculator, rest timer and Live Activity – Apple Watch: log sets and control the rest timer while your workout runs on iPhone – Optional Apple Health integration – iCloud Sync, offline use, and CSV export and import of your NAWT data Only with NAWT Pro (subscription or one-time purchase): – Adaptive Progression: a weight and rep target for every working set, with the reason; uses your RPE/RIR – Deload control: spots plateaus across three sessions and suggests a deload – Plan generator: a complete plan from your training days, time per session, equipment and goal – Import your history from supported tracker apps (free preview) – Coach notes with Apple Intelligence: a note after training and a briefing before your next session (requires an iPhone with Apple Intelligence and iOS 26 or later); targets and reasons work without it – Long-term volume and consistency insights – Personal XP and levels – Studio: five more accent colors, each with a matching app icon If Pro ends, your workouts, routines and generated plans stay usable. BUILT FOR THE GYM. NAWT is a workout tracker and training log for strength training and hypertrophy, whether you're into bodybuilding, powerlifting or just lifting twice a week. Track squats, bench press, deadlifts and the machines at your gym set by set, with weight, reps and RPE; warm-up sets, working sets and drop sets are marked separately. No need for a separate 1RM calculator: NAWT estimates your one-rep max from every set. The plate calculator shows which plates go on the bar, and the rest timer runs on your Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and on Apple Watch. With Pro, the plan generator builds your workout plan as full body, upper/lower or push/pull/legs, and progression follows progressive overload: more reps or more weight as soon as you're ready. Finished workouts can go to Apple Health with their real start and end times. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS. No NAWT account, no email, no sign-up. With iCloud Sync, your workouts, plans and exercises live in your own iCloud account; we have no access to them. Your body weight and anything NAWT reads from Apple Health are never stored in iCloud. PRO PURCHASES & SUBSCRIPTIONS. The logger remains free. NAWT Pro is optional and available as β€œNAWT Pro – Monthly” for one month, β€œNAWT Pro – Annual” for one year, or β€œNAWT Pro – Lifetime” as permanent Pro access. If StoreKit confirms eligibility, you can try a monthly or annual subscription free for seven days. After the free trial, the selected subscription renews automatically at the full price shown before purchase for its stated term unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store account settings. Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no recurring charge. Purchases can be restored in NAWT. NAWT. Every set you grind out deserves to be counted. Basalt Lab is the data discipline of a spreadsheet, built into native iOS: you train, the app keeps score, and your progress becomes visible, session after session. Two modes, depending on how you train: β€’ Manual: log a set in 2 taps and get back under the bar. The rest timer is there when you want it. β€’ Lab (Pro): validate with a swipe and the rest rolls into the next set. Your phone fades into the background. YOUR SESSION, WITHOUT FRICTION β€’ Your previous session replayed set by set (Pro): you know exactly what to beat today, and today's load wins when it's heavier. β€’ Apple Watch: log from your wrist with the Digital Crown, phone stays in the bag. β€’ Live Activities + Dynamic Island: your rest and your next set stay in sight on the Lock Screen, in both modes. β€’ 370+ exercises, supersets (Pro), swap an exercise mid-session. β€’ 52 ready-made workouts, ready to start (12 free): you pick, the app runs it. PROOF YOU'RE MOVING β€’ 48 statistics (14 included, +34 with Pro) built around the only question that matters: are you actually progressing? β€’ Plateau detection: know it's stalling before you lose weeks to it. β€’ Your 1RM projected at 3 and 6 months: see where you're headed, not just where you've been. β€’ Push/Pull ratios, strength radar, an overtraining alert when your volume runs past your average. β€’ Regularity heatmap, streaks and trophies: your consistency finally shows. β€’ Your session heart rate (Apple Watch): the curve on your recap, your average, your max and your recovery. β€’ Add past sessions to your calendar (Pro): your history stays complete, even when life gets in the way. β€’ A session recap you can share as an image, when you have something to show. WHO IT'S FOR For serious lifters who want to progress without noise. No imposed coach, no childish badges, no social feed: nobody to impress, just you and your numbers. FREE VS PRO Free: unlimited workout journal, 14 statistics over the last 4 weeks, 3 custom sessions and 5 custom exercises, Manual mode, Watch, Live Activities, widget, trophies. Pro (7-day free trial, monthly or annual): Lab mode, set-by-set prefill, supersets and session comparison, past sessions, unlimited customization, unlimited stats history, +34 advanced statistics and the strength radar. THE METHOD, DOCUMENTED The average lifter who tracks their progress does better than 66% of those who don't (Harkin et al., 2016). Same program, app-guided: the sessions get done. Alone, one in two gets skipped (Gavanda et al., 2025). Studies on the methods: not on the app itself. YOUR DATA, YOURS No ad trackers. The app works fully offline: your history lives on your device and belongs to you. Backups hosted in the EU (Paris). You rack the phone, you grab the bar. We keep count. Basalt Lab Pro: auto-renewable subscription. β€’ Monthly: $7.99/month. β€’ Annual: $49.99/year, i.e. $4.17/month. Each plan starts with a 7-day free trial; the trial is granted once per Apple Account. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew in your Apple Account settings. Prices shown for the U.S. store; they may vary by country.
