About

Cubby

Cubby is a video app for teens and adults with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities — and the people who support them. Someone they trust builds the library. That library is the entire app. No search. No recommendations. No autoplay. There is no search bar, no suggested videos, no "up next," and no path out to YouTube or the open internet. When a video ends, the viewer is back on their own home screen. Not somewhere else. Built for adults, not for toddlers. Almost everything in this space is designed as if its users were five years old. Cubby is the same protection without the condescension. Roles that respect the person • Admin — the account owner. Manages profiles, the library, watch time and settings, behind a PIN. • Curator — a capable teen or adult who can add to their own library, but not touch the account. • Viewer — watches the approved library. Tuned to how someone actually watches Three sensory modes — calm, balanced, engage — set per profile by the admin, plus per-person contrast, brightness, dimming, captions, playback speed, larger controls, reduced motion and text size. Atkinson Hyperlegible type throughout. Watch time and schedule Set a daily viewing limit and time-of-day windows for each profile. Calm styling, no alarms, no ticking clocks. About ads Videos play in an embedded YouTube player, and YouTube shows its own ads inside it. We do not control those ads and we do not claim to remove them. What Cubby removes is the wandering: no recommendations, no autoplay, no rabbit holes. YouTube Premium removes the ads.

Patterns turns your screen into something you made. CREATE YOUR STYLE Every wallpaper here starts as a recipe, not a download. Pick a generative style, tune it until it feels right, and the app renders the result on your device at full resolution. Change one value and you get something new. Nothing is fetched from a server, and no two people end up with quite the same screen. BEAUTIFUL PATTERNS Forty generative styles, organized into four families: Gradients - mesh gradients, aurora, nebula, sunset, neon and deep AMOLED black Textures - marble, watercolor, ink, smoke, clouds, fabric, carbon fiber, glass and ice Geometric - low poly, polygon, wireframe, circuit board, minimal forms and clean shapes Particles - starfields, rain, bubbles, drifting light and flowing liquid Search the catalog by name or filter by family to find a direction fast. MAKE IT YOURS Open any style in the editor and it becomes adjustable. Sliders for scale, density, complexity, symmetry, rotation, depth, glow, blur, contrast and more update the preview as you move them. Replace the palette with your own colors using the system color picker, or reset to the original in a tap. Feeling exploratory? Randomize the seed and let the engine surprise you, then keep the version you like. DESIGNED FOR WALLPAPERS Render in HD, QHD or 4K, in portrait for iPhone and iPad or landscape for Mac. On iPhone and iPad your wallpaper saves straight to Photos, with a short guide to finishing in Settings. On Mac, Set as Desktop applies it across every display at once. SAVE, FAVORITE & SHARE Favorite the designs worth keeping and they collect in your Library. A running history holds your recent work so nothing good gets lost. Export a PNG, or send a creation through the share sheet to wherever you want it. WHY PATTERNS It runs entirely on your device. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no ads. The app contains no networking code at all, so it works on a plane exactly as well as it works at home. Light, dark and system themes included. Pay once. Enjoy for a lifetime. No subscriptions. No recurring charges. One payment, and the app is yours. 24/7 customer support We are here whenever you need help. Reach us at contact@dowble.com Your feedback matters Have a suggestion or an issue?
