Train Tracks builds a training plan around your race — or around your week, if there isn't one — then carries the fuelling and body-weight side of the same season. Triathlon and running. Swim, bike, run, lift. PICK A RACE, GET A SEASON Full-distance (140.6), half (70.3), Olympic or sprint triathlon. Marathon, half marathon, 10K or 5K. Answer three questions about your recent training and the plan reaches back from race day — base, build, peak, taper — sized to where you actually are, not where a template assumes. No race? Shape one repeating week and train it for as long as you like. Pencil a race in later and the plan takes over when it's time. EVERY SESSION HAS A PURPOSE AND A WINDOW Not "run 7.3 miles at 8:42 pace". Instead: "45 min easy, ±10". Hit the window by feel. One hard effort per sport per week; everything else stays genuinely easy. Every fourth week is an easy week — the same sessions at less volume — and you can move it or clear it. YOU STAY IN CHARGE The app never changes your plan behind your back. When something looks off — a week that came in hard, fatigue stacking up, a phase you haven't earned yet — you get a flag with a reason, an accept and a dismiss. Rearrange the week however life demands. There is no adherence score judging you for it. STRAVA SYNC Connect Strava and finished activities match themselves to the sessions on your plan. Milestones — first 2-hour run, first 90K ride, first 1,500m swim, fastest 10K — are earned from what you've actually done, never scheduled. FUEL THE TRAINING Daily calorie and macro targets built from the day's sessions, not a flat formula — a long-ride day and a rest day don't eat the same. Log food by scanning a barcode, photographing a nutrition label, or typing what you ate in plain English and getting an honest estimate with a range. Portion by weight, keep the meals you repeat, and see the week against target. WEIGHT, WITHOUT THE DRAMA Daily weigh-ins, a trend that ignores the noise, and a goal that sets your calories. Weight change holds automatically through the taper so you reach the start line fuelled. THE GUIDEBOOK Short answers to the questions that actually come up: effort by feel, what a good tempo session looks like, bricks, open-water prep, good fatigue vs bad, what to do about missed workouts. BUILT FOR Runners and triathletes at any level who want a plan with reasons, not a spreadsheet. Athletes who train by feel. Anyone who has had an app rewrite their week without asking. SUBSCRIPTION Train Tracks Pro is $9.99/month or $69.99/year after a 14-day free trial.
