You know the problem. You pick up your phone to check one thing and 45 minutes later you're deep in reels you don't even like. Screen time limits? You tap "Ignore" every single time. We all do. Thumka fixes this with a simple idea: before you can open your most addictive apps, you have to do a 5-second Bollywood dance move. That's it. Just enough friction to break the autopilot - and just ridiculous enough that you'll think twice about whether you really need to open Instagram right now. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick the apps you want to lock (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube - you know which ones) 2. When you try to open them, Thumka blocks the app and gives you a random dance move 3. Follow the hook step for 5 seconds to unlock 4. Your apps stay open for a grace period you set (30 min, 1 hour, whatever you want) 5. When the timer runs out, apps lock again until your next dance Not feeling a dance? Too ashamed to do it in public? Close your eyes for 15 seconds instead. Still more effort than tapping "Ignore Limit." - Every unlock is a different move - learn a few moves whether you meant to or not. - Track your progress. See how long your apps stayed locked, your daily unlock streak, and how many times you actually resisted the urge to scroll. The numbers are surprisingly motivating. WHY IT WORKS Research shows that adding even a few seconds of friction to a habit dramatically reduces how often you do it. Thumka adds 5 seconds of fun friction — just enough to make you pause and ask "do I actually need this right now?" Half the time, the answer is no, and you put your phone down. That's the whole trick. PRIVACY FIRST - No account required - No data shared - No ads - Free to use Thumka uses Apple's Screen Time API to lock apps. Your choice of which apps to block is stored locally on your device as an encrypted token - Thumka itself never sees the list.

Save it. Plan it. Finish it. You already send things to yourself. A reel you want to cook. A link you meant to read. A note you will need on Thursday. Nylo keeps all of it, and then does the part you never get round to. HOW THINGS GET IN Forward anything to Nylo on WhatsApp, or share a reel to him from Instagram. There is no new app to remember and nothing to file. He replies to say he has it. ASK HIM LATER Ask in your own words, the way you would ask a person. "What was that pasta thing." "What did Jessica post about." "How many things have I saved." He answers in one or two plain sentences and shows you exactly which save it came from, so you can check him. HE WATCHES THE REEL With Nylo Pro he watches each reel you send, so he knows what was said, what was on screen and what was shown. Ask for the books a reading reel named, or the recipe in a cooking reel, without opening it again. HE KNOWS MORE THAN YOUR SAVES Ask what buckets you have, what you have been putting off, what is left on a target, who you save most from, how long you have been using him. He knows, because it is your account and not a search box. Ask how the app works and the switch you need shows up right in the chat. GIVE IT A DATE AND IT BECOMES A PLAN Put a date on a bucket and Nylo reads what is in it and writes the steps himself, using the things you actually saved. A physio reel becomes "do three sets of calf raises every day", not "watch the physio reel". Then he keeps asking until they are done. A PLAN EACH MORNING, A CHECK EACH EVENING The morning list names what is due. The evening asks how it went. Tick or move, and he carries the rest over. On a day with nothing due he says nothing at all. THINGS THAT GROUP THEMSELVES Things about one idea end up together without you naming anything. You can make your own buckets too. WHAT LEAVES YOUR PHONE, PLAINLY Your saves live on Nylo's server so they come back on any phone you sign in on. When you ask a question, that question and the few saves that match it are sent to OpenAI to write the answer. With Pro, OpenAI also watches the reels you send so Nylo knows what is in them, and Apify, which fetches the reel, sees only its public link. OpenAI does not train on any of it. You agree to this before anything is sent, and the privacy policy spells it out. Posts you write in Feedback are public to everyone using Nylo, under your first name, and follow the community rules in the Terms of Use. Speech is turned into text on your device and never uploaded. FREE, AND PRO Free: 100 saves a month, all your buckets, everything you have already saved. Nylo Pro: ask him questions, he watches the reels you send, no monthly limit, the morning plan and the evening check. SUBSCRIPTION Nylo Pro is $9.99 a month or $39.99 a year in the US, both with a 3 day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the trial ends. It renews until you cancel, and you can cancel any time in your Apple Account settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends.
