You already ask your AI about everything. Ask it for your gym plan. Gym Commitment is a gym log your own AI can send plans to. Connect ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini once. It asks about your week and your gym, writes the plan, and the plan lands on your phone, ready to follow set by set. YOUR AI, YOUR PLAN • Connect your own assistant once, with a code from the app • It asks one thing at a time before it writes the plan • The plan lands on your phone. Look it over, keep it and follow it • Change it in one sentence, like "make Thursday shorter". The new version lands in the same place • Ask your AI about your plan, like why an exercise is in it • Once connected, leave your AI a note on any exercise, like "No machine here". It goes with your next change • When you choose, share your last 12 weeks. Your AI writes a report with three changes for your plan • The AI tab can show one next step, so you know what to ask You connect your own ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. What you say stays there. Only the finished plan or report reaches your phone. Some assistants need a paid plan or are limited by country. Rather not use an AI? Everything below works without one. IN THE GYM • Your sets open with last time's numbers, so you know what to beat • Tick a set and the rest timer starts, in the app and on your lock screen • The weight column says if it is one dumbbell, or bar and plates together • Warm up, drop and failure sets. Supersets open the next exercise when you tick a set • Machine taken? Swap the exercise. Or skip it today and keep it in your plan • Exercises show as pictures. Tap one to add it, or switch to a list • No routine? Tap Start and add exercises as you go • Choose to save only the sets you tick • A new best gets a trophy on the set that beat it • Gym Time reminders on the days you pick ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN AND WRIST • A lock screen widget shows today's workout and your week • While you train, the Live Activity shows your exercise, your set and your rest. Add a photo from it during your workout • With your iPhone nearby, start, tick sets, change weight, reps and time, and finish from your Apple Watch ROUTINES, YOUR WAY • Ready-made routines for every situation: full body, upper lower, push pull legs, dumbbells only, machines only, home with no kit, 30 minutes, over 40 • Build your own, day by day, exercise by exercise • A friend or trainer builds one and sends you a link • Set a weekly goal. It counts from this week WHAT YOU SEE AFTER • Sets by muscle on a body figure, for any routine and for your week so far • Every lift on a graph, with personal records • Weekly, monthly and yearly reports that show the body parts you skipped • Progress photos kept with the session they came from. You can switch Photos off in Settings YOUR DATA • No account needed • Log every set with no signal. Form clips and your AI need a connection • Export every session and set as a CSV, whenever you want • In English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German and French, following your phone or your pick in Settings FREE, AND PRO • Free: logging, the rest timer, every exercise and clip, the Apple Watch app, a free routine for every situation, and a set number of plans, changes and reports from your AI • Pro adds: more plans, changes and reports from your AI, every earlier week, month and year, every lift's progress back to day one, every photo, every routine, deeper insights with Advanced Mode, and backup to your own iCloud Questions or ideas: gymcommitmentapp@gmail.com Privacy: https://gymcommitment.com/privacy Terms: https://gymcommitment.com/terms ChatGPT is a trademark of OpenAI, Claude of Anthropic, and Gemini of Google. I'm a preventive cardiologist. I keep meeting people who only learn their blood pressure is high after it has already affected their heart, kidneys, brain or eyes. Home readings could have flagged it much sooner, if they're taken the right way. So BP Log walks you through the method the latest guidelines recommend: two readings about a minute apart, averaged, because blood pressure shifts from minute to minute and a single number can mislead. It also shows your time in target next to your average, because an average can look fine while half your readings sit above goal. Dr. Kaustubh Dabhadkar, U.S. board-certified cardiologist GUIDED READINGS, DONE RIGHT • Take two readings a minute apart. The app times it, chimes when your rest is up, and averages them for you • Need more than two? Add extra readings and choose which ones to average, with every raw reading still saved • Every reading classified against the current blood pressure categories the moment you log it NEVER LOSE A READING • Forgot to log one? Add a past reading from History with the date and time you took it • Choose whether a reading counts as morning or evening, so your AM and PM averages stay accurate • Edit any saved reading, with Undo if you delete one by mistake ON YOUR WRIST • Take a guided reading on Apple Watch: enter reading 1, rest a minute (your watch taps you when it's time), enter reading 2, and the average saves to your iPhone • Add the Log BP complication to your watch face STAYS IN SYNC • Import your existing Apple Health history, then keep syncing automatically • Log from Control Center, the Lock Screen, or Siri: "Hey Siri, log my blood pressure" • Synced privately through your own iCloud account, never our servers BUILT FOR YOUR NEXT VISIT • A clean report of your trends, with every morning and evening reading in a detailed log, ready to hand to your doctor • Prefer to share less? A "Summary only" report shows averages and charts without the day-by-day readings • Full raw history, exportable anytime • A built-in orthostatic check for sitting-to-standing blood pressure drops IN YOUR LANGUAGE • BP Log is available in 46 languages, including Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Hindi, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Korean YOUR DATA, YOUR CALL • Delete All Data in Settings removes everything, with the option to remove BP Log's readings from Apple Health too Logging readings, your dashboard, the doctor visit report, orthostatic checks, the Apple Watch app, and full history export are free, always. BP Log Lifetime (one payment, no subscription, ever) unlocks your full chart history, doctor reports covering up to 12 months, and orthostatic trends over time. BP Log is an educational tool and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always follow your own physician's guidance.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: BP Log at none against Gym Commitment's shown. Gym Commitment's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly) and ratings volume (28 vs 5). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Gym Commitment sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and BP Log sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Gym Commitment against 5.0 for BP Log. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gym Commitment has 28 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
Gym Commitment ships an update every 3 days, BP Log weekly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
