Working in the UAE and thinking about resigning or changing jobs during probation? Keep the probation and notice periods written in your contract side by side with a link to Article 9 of the UAE federal labour law, and note the values you checked and the questions you still need to ask. The app is available in English and Korean. This is an independent reference tool, not a government service or legal advice. It does not decide whether a number is lawful or calculate when you can leave a job. How it works - For three topics, annual leave, probation and notice after probation, copy the numbers and units you found in your contract. Entry is optional; you can read the questions and sources with nothing entered. - Probation is in months; notice is in days with who it applies to (during probation, after probation or not sure); annual leave is in working days, calendar days or not specified in contract. Blank and zero are saved as different values. - On the probation topic, choose whether you are in probation and whether you are changing employer in the UAE or leaving the UAE, and the questions to check narrow down. Not sure is always an option. - Each topic shows the article number in Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 (probation Article 9, annual leave Article 29, notice Article 43), links to the UAE legislation portal and a government-hosted English PDF, and the date the app last checked its source reference. - Links open in your browser only when you tap them. If a link does not open, try again or copy the address; your notes stay as they are. - For each topic, mark how far you got: Not reviewed, Need to ask or I reviewed the source. The mark is saved with its time. It does not mean the contract is lawful or that you have a right to anything. - Next time, your saved values and marks are where you left them. Changing a value resets that topic to Not reviewed and keeps your previous mark separately. - The nine topics from earlier versions, including working hours, overtime, sick leave, maternity leave, termination, gratuity and labour disputes, can be found by name and link to the legislation portal or the MOHRE website. There is no legal text search or explanation. - Delete one topic or all notes, with a confirmation step. - Light and dark appearance, large text and iPad landscape are supported. Privacy - No account. The app does not ask for your name, salary, employer or contract files. - Notes are stored on your device and the app sends nothing to a server. No ads, ad tracking or analytics. - Depending on your OS account and settings, notes may be included in device backups, and they may not return after changing devices or reinstalling. Good to know - Laws can change. The source reference date in the app is not the date the law took effect or was last amended, and later amendments have not been fully verified. Check the source text before acting. - The English PDF is a translation and the Arabic text prevails. Links do not jump to the article, so search the page for the article number. - DIFC, ADGM, government, military or police and domestic work may follow separate rules. If unsure, ask the responsible authority such as MOHRE. - There is no gratuity calculator in this app. - This is an independent app, not affiliated with MOHRE or the UAE government.
