Going somewhere unfamiliar? An Airbnb, a rental, a room you don't trust? ClearSight helps you check a space for hidden cameras and trackers using only your iPhone. Built for travelers, hosts, and anyone who wants more confidence about a room. SCAN FOR FREE — NO ACCOUNT, NO PAYMENT Run a full Wi-Fi scan and a full Bluetooth tracker scan without paying — you'll see how many devices were found, how many were flagged, and a verdict on the room. The 30-item inspection guide is free in full. A subscription unlocks the detail behind the scans, plus the infrared and optical tools. FIVE WAYS TO CHECK A SPACE Network Scan Finds cameras and IoT devices on the local Wi-Fi — RTSP streaming ports, ONVIF responses, camera-vendor service records, and port patterns common to Hikvision, Dahua, Wyze, Ring and generic IP cameras. Also flags camera hubs and base stations (Blink, Ring, Arlo, Eufy, NVRs) — the battery cameras they control use a radio no phone can scan, so the hub is your cue to look physically. Each device shows the evidence behind its rating. Bluetooth & Tracker Scan Detects nearby Bluetooth trackers — AirTag, Tile, SmartTag, Chipolo, Pebblebee — plus unknown devices with unusually strong signals. iOS hides AirTag identifying data from third-party apps, so we say "Possible AirTag" rather than overclaim. Results land on a live sonar by signal strength, not location — walls and bodies change Bluetooth too much to honestly name a room. Infrared (IR) Camera Scan Helps reveal cameras using night vision. IR LEDs are invisible to your eyes but show up on your phone's camera in the dark. Sweep slowly and watch for bright points — though TVs and remotes also produce small IR glints. Lens Detector Uses your flashlight and optical retroreflection to spot hidden camera lenses, including unpowered ones. Works best when the lens roughly faces the phone, light is low and you move slowly. A thorough sweep, not a guarantee. Physical Inspection Guide — free 30 guided checkpoints for the highest-risk hiding spots — smoke detectors, alarm clocks, vents, screw holes, decor. Reaches what tech can't. ALSO INCLUDED Travel Mode — a guided 5-step sweep in the right order, for your first 10 minutes after check-in. Periodic Re-scan — re-runs the network scan during your stay and flags changes, though new devices have ordinary causes. Router Port Check — gateway ports that may indicate cameras reaching the internet. PRIVACY THAT ISN'T A PROMISE — IT'S ARCHITECTURE Everything ClearSight detects stays on your device. Results, device lists, photos, reports — never uploaded. No telemetry, no phoning home. Apple gives us aggregated install metrics that identify no one. WHERE IT WORKS, AND WHERE IT DOESN'T Most effective in short-term rentals, Airbnbs and friends' homes — anywhere the host runs the same Wi-Fi you're on. Less effective in hotels, where cameras usually sit on management networks no guest-side scanner can reach. The IR scan, lens detector, Bluetooth scan and checklist still work anywhere. ClearSight is a privacy awareness aid, not a certified security instrument. No scanning technology — including professional gear — can guarantee detection of every device. Cameras on cellular networks and offline storage-only devices fall outside what any Wi-Fi scanner reaches. CLEARSIGHT PRO $29.99/year or $8.99/month, each with a 3-day free trial. Renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends — manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings. Cancel during the trial and you aren't charged. Already bought ClearSight outright? Nothing changes — you keep everything, permanently, and are never asked to subscribe. No ads. No data sold, ever. See the hidden world around you. NearSight listens for the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) signals that nearby devices are constantly broadcasting and decodes what they actually are. Earbuds, watches, fitness trackers, beacons, smart-home sensors, item trackers, and more turn from anonymous radio noise into a clear, readable list right on your iPhone. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Scan live. Watch nearby devices appear in real time, sorted by how close they are. • Know what's there. NearSight recognizes a growing catalog of device types and shows make, model, and what each signal means, not just a cryptic address. • Notice the unexpected. Surface unknown or unfamiliar devices around you and decide for yourself what belongs. • Go deeper. Open any device to inspect its raw advertisement, signal strength, and parsed technical details. OPTIONAL AI INSIGHTS Turn on AI to get plain-language explanations of what NearSight is seeing. Bring your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key, or run a compact model entirely on your device. Your choice. AI is completely optional and stays off until you enable it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Scanning happens on your iPhone. NearSight works fully offline and shows what it sees to no one but you. AI insights and anonymous telemetry are strictly opt-in and off by default. Nothing leaves your device unless you turn it on. No ads, no third-party tracking, no account required. WHAT NEARSIGHT CAN (AND CAN'T) SEE NearSight decodes the Bluetooth signals that devices broadcast but it can't see everything: • Not every device is recognized. New or niche hardware may show up as Unknown until we've researched it and added support. • Some devices are intentionally excluded. We don't surface certain safety-sensitive devices (for example personal panic buttons), because revealing someone's private safety equipment could put them at risk. However, AI Insights may identify such devices. • It only sees Bluetooth. Devices that are powered off, not currently broadcasting, or that use other radios (Wi-Fi-only cameras, wired, or cellular devices) are invisible to NearSight. NearSight is a Bluetooth explorer, not a safety or security device, bug sweeper, or hidden-camera detector. It cannot guarantee it will find every tracker, camera, or listening device near you, and not seeing something here does not mean it isn't there. If you have a real safety concern, use dedicated tools and contact local authorities. Questions, or a device you'd like us to identify? Email hello@nearsight.one.
