MaxRep

Never guess your one rep max again. You just hit 225 lbs for 5 reps on the bench. What's your single rep max? MaxRep tells you in milliseconds: 262.5 lb, Epley formula, and which plates to load to attempt it. The strength calculator that replaces your spreadsheet. Enter any weight, any rep count, any lift. MaxRep applies the Epley one rep max predictor, the gold-standard estimator used worldwide, and returns a precise single rep max in real time. Free forever. No account. No tracking pixels. But MaxRep is more than a 1RM calculator. It's the complete computation layer for strength training: plates, percentages, RPE, warmups, strength standards, and 5/3/1 programming. Everything you need between sets, in one app. The numbers are right, and they show their work. Every formula is cited inside the app: Epley for 1RM, Tuchscherer for RPE, Wendler for 5/3/1. And the plate calculator respects the plates your gym actually has, so it never calls for weight you do not own. A calculator you have to double-check is not a calculator. What you get free: • Instant 1RM via the Epley formula, with no account, no limits, no upsell wall • Visual plate calculator that shows exactly which plates to load on the bar to hit any target weight • Percentage table, 40 to 100% training loads for any 1RM, with plate loading per row • Exercise library, 20 preset lifts plus unlimited custom entries • lbs / kg toggle, set once and applied everywhere Unlock Pro ($9.99, one time): • RPE / RIR table: convert perceived exertion to percentage of 1RM instantly, based on Tuchscherer's chart • Warmup ramp generator: progressive warmup sets calibrated to today's working weight, with plate loading per set • Strength level rankings: see where you stand from Beginner to Elite by bodyweight and gender for Bench Press, Squat, Deadlift, and Overhead Press • Backoff set calculator: compute follow-up volume from your top set with plate breakdown • Unlimited history: per-exercise line chart tracks your estimated max day-over-day • Custom plate inventory: configure bars, plates, and collars per gym • Training max toggle: switch the percentage table between true 1RM and 85% / 90% training max • Home screen widget: your latest 1RMs, always current • PDF export: full training history, formatted and printable Coach tier ($19.99 / year or $39.99 lifetime): For serious programmed lifters and competitors. Everything in Pro, plus: • 5/3/1 cycle generator: enter your training maxes, get a full 4-week Wendler block with exact weights and plate loading for every set • Advance Cycle: log your Week-3 AMRAP reps and the app applies Wendler's "5+ to add weight" rule, bumps your training max, and regenerates the next block. Real progression, not a one-shot calculator. • Fatigue detection: trend analysis flags when a lift is declining and suggests deloads • Meet attempt calculator: auto-select opener, second, and third attempts from your estimated max, with plate calls for the platform • Multiple gym profiles: save plate inventories for home, commercial gym, or competition No subscription to use the calculator. Plenty of apps lock the plate calculator or percentage table behind a monthly subscription. MaxRep keeps the core tools free, and Pro is one payment for permanent access, no recurring fee. Coach adds programming and competition tools as a yearly plan or one-time lifetime unlock. Either way your data stays on your phone. Built for: → Powerlifters tracking squat, bench, and deadlift readiness for competition → Strength coaches who need a credible, formula-backed estimate without a spreadsheet → CrossFit athletes logging 1RM benchmarks across a rotating exercise library → 5/3/1 followers who need precise load tables and AMRAP-driven progression each cycle Your training data deserves better than a guess. Download MaxRep free and know your true 1RM in two taps. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Stop doing barbell math in your head. And stop losing track of what you lifted. PlatePal tells you exactly which plates to put on each side of the bar to hit any weight, drawn to scale, in your plate colors, using only the plates you actually own. And the Logbook keeps every session you save for good, then charts your rep maxes climbing over time. LOAD (free) • By Weight: type a target and see the exact per-side plate breakdown instantly, with a to-scale barbell in competition plate colors. • By Plates: build the bar by tapping plates and watch the running total. Perfect for working up by feel, or answering "what's already on the bar?" • Both modes share one working weight, so switching keeps your number. Step by your increment, tap a recent weight, or enter a weight in the other unit to convert it. • When an exact load isn't possible, PlatePal shows the nearest loadable weight. WORKOUT (free) • Tap "Add to Workout" to log the weights you hit, grouped by lift, with reps and notes. • Warm-up ramps: tap the flame on a lift and PlatePal plans your warm-up, each step reachable by adding plates to the bar you're holding, from plates you own, with suggested reps. • Supersets: link lifts together and your sets are labeled A1, A2. Matching rounds collapse to "3 rounds" when you copy or share. • Mark warm-ups so they stay out of your stats, plan target reps, and record a missed set as 3 of 5. • Share as clean text to paste anywhere, or as a branded Card or Story image. PRs get a medal on the card automatically. LOGBOOK • Every session you save is kept for good: a timeline of your training, and a page for every lift. • Rep-max records tracked per lift (1RM, 3RM, 5RM, and more), with the history behind each one. • See your strength climb: a Rep-Max Progression graph charts your 1, 2, 3, and 5 rep maxes over time for every lift, from the exact weights you logged. • Name a session anything you like, such as "Bench Cycle · Week 2," and it shows in your timeline in place of the lift list. • Hit a PR and PlatePal spots it the moment you save, and invites you to share it. • Reload any past session onto the Workout tab and run it again. • Browse your Logbook free: the timeline, PR trophies, and filters. Open any workout for its set-by-set detail, exact rep-maxes, and progression graph with PlatePal Pro. IMPORT, EXPORT & BACKUP (free) • Bring your history: import workouts from Strong, Hevy, or SugarWOD (Beta). Barbell lifts import; skipped rows are itemized with the reason. • Export a spreadsheet (CSV) of every set for your own analysis. • Back up everything as one PlatePal file: your Logbook, custom lifts, and gym profiles. Restore it on any phone from Settings. • Import, export, and backup are free, Pro or not. Your training data is never locked in. PERCENTAGES (free) • Tap "%" on the Load tab for a table from 20% to 120%, mapped to your exact plates for percentage programming. Every row shows the nearest loadable weight. ASK SIRI (free) • "How do I load my barbell in PlatePal?" Siri asks your target weight, then reads back and shows the exact plates per side, using your gym profile's bar, plates, and units. PLATE INVENTORY (free) • Set how many of each plate you own, or mark them unlimited for gym mode. PlatePal only suggests loads you can actually build. MULTIPLE GYMS & BARS (Pro) • Save a separate setup (plates, bars, and units) for every place you train, and switch bars (Olympic, women's, trap, technique, or custom) per session. PLATEPAL PRO • One purchase, yours forever: the full Logbook (any workout's set-by-set detail, exact rep-maxes, and Rep-Max Progression graph), multiple gym profiles, multiple barbells, custom plate colors, and custom app icons. No subscription. Whether you're a powerlifter chasing a percentage, a coach setting up a rack, or just tired of plate math mid-workout, PlatePal gets the plates right and remembers every session. Imperial (lb) and metric (kg). iPhone. No account, no ads, fully offline.
