Schengen 90/180 Tracker
Read full descriptionHide full description
Schengen 90/180 Tracker helps you calculate Schengen days left, check future Europe trips, and find your latest safe exit and earliest re-entry date without spreadsheets or manual counting. The rule sounds simple, but it is easy to miscalculate: every day you spend in the Schengen Area is checked against the previous 180 days. A short trip from months ago can still affect your next entry, your current stay, or the date you should leave. Add your past trips, current stay, and future travel plans. The app shows the numbers that matter before you book, travel, or return to Europe. If you travel on a short-stay visa, your visa sticker carries its own validity dates, authorised stay and entry count. The app checks a planned trip against those and the 90/180 rule at once. EES AND ETIAS Since April 2026, the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) records your entries and exits automatically instead of passport stamps, but it flags overstays at the border rather than helping you plan ahead. ETIAS, arriving later in 2026, is a travel authorisation: it lets you in, but it does not change your 90/180-day limit. Know your numbers before you book, not at the border. KEY FEATURES • Schengen days left See how many days you have used and how many remain in your current 180-day window, with clear colour-coded status: safe, low days, at limit, or possible overstay. • 90/180 rule calculator Track your stay allowance using the rolling Schengen short-stay rule. Entry and exit days both count, just like in the official EU short-stay calculator method. Past trips respect the exact dates Croatia, Bulgaria and Romania began applying the short-stay rules. • Short-stay visa check Enter the validity dates, DURATION OF STAY and number of entries printed on your Type C visa sticker, and check a planned trip against your visa and the 90/180 rule together. Transit visas and limited territorial validity are not covered. Visa details you enter are not saved. • Smart alerts (Pro) Get notified before you reach 10, 5, 3, 1 and 0 days left, so the limit never surprises you. • Calculation breakdown See exactly which days count toward your 90, trip by trip, and which days have dropped out of the window. • Save planned trips (Pro) Check any future itinerary for free with the visa calculator, then save it to your timeline as a planned trip with Pro. • Latest safe exit and earliest re-entry See the latest date that keeps your current stay within the allowance, and the earliest date you can return after using it. • Trip calendar Review past, current, and planned Schengen trips in a calendar view. • iCloud backup (Pro) Keep a private backup of your trip history in your iCloud account and restore it on a new iPhone. • Unlimited free tracking Save unlimited past trips and current stays for free. No account required; your travel history is stored on your device. BUILT FOR Tourists, digital nomads, remote workers, snowbirds, expats, business travellers, and anyone who visits Europe often. WHY IT HELPS The 90/180 rule changes every day because the 180-day reference window keeps moving. That means your allowance can change even when you do not add a new trip. • How many Schengen days do I have left? • Can I take this future trip? • When should I leave, and when can I come back? IMPORTANT NOTICE Schengen 90/180 Tracker is an independent travel planning tool. It is not an official EU, Schengen, border, visa, immigration, or government app, and it is not affiliated with EES or ETIAS. Calculation results are for informational planning only. They do not create a legal right to enter, remain in, or return to the Schengen Area. Your situation may depend on your nationality, visa type, residence permit, bilateral agreements, and border decisions. Always confirm your travel situation with official sources or qualified advice before making important travel decisions. Know exactly how many days you can stay — in every country you travel to. DaysHere counts your travel days country by country and tells you how many you have left: visa-free stays, the Schengen 90/180 rule, the UK's 180 days per visit, and calendar-year caps such as 183 days. No spreadsheets, no guesswork, no account. SEE YOUR REMAINING DAYS AT A GLANCE Every country you track shows the days you have left and the last day you can stay, under the rule that applies there. The number updates the moment you log a trip. EVERY KIND OF STAY LIMIT, BUILT IN • Fixed stay per entry — up to N days each time you enter, e.g. 30, 60, 90 or 180 days per visit. • Rolling window — a limit inside a moving window, like Schengen's 90 days in any 180. Group several countries under one shared allowance. • Calendar year limit — a cap between Jan 1 and Dec 31, e.g. 183 days per year. • Custom rule — your own day limit and period, for a country that does something different. • No limit — for home and anywhere you have free movement, so those days are simply counted. RULES SUGGESTED FOR YOUR PASSPORT Add a country and DaysHere shows the rule it knows for your passport there — what it allows and where that comes from — for you to check before it becomes your rule. PLAN A TRIP BEFORE YOU BOOK Enter the dates you have in mind and DaysHere tells you whether the trip fits, and how much of your allowance would be left. NEVER LOSE A TRIP YOU FORGOT TO LOG Turn on background tracking and DaysHere checks which country you are in about once a day, even while the app is closed. Anything that does not match what you have recorded comes back as a question you can accept, reject or delete — nothing is added to your history until you save it. Only the country is kept, unless you also record your route, which stays on this device. The feature is off until you switch it on, and short trips can be missed. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. ALERTS BEFORE THE DEADLINE Local reminders at 30, 14, 7, 3 and 1 days before your limit — and on the day itself. Turn each one on or off. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN A widget puts the number where you already look: the country you are in, the days you have left and the last day you can stay. It updates as your days count down, and on the Lock Screen it fits into a single circle or line. LOG TRIPS AND KEEP YOUR HISTORY Record entry and exit dates per country, including an ongoing stay with no exit date yet. Turn trips already in your calendar into stays with a tap. Review the whole history anytime, or take it with you as a CSV. A CALENDAR AND A GLOBE THAT MAKE IT OBVIOUS Stay days are color-coded by country on a month view, with your deadline day highlighted — and a globe replays your journeys, down to the route you took. YOUR TRAVEL HISTORY NEVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE No account, no cloud, no tracking, no ads. Your countries, stays and dates live on your device and nowhere else. Turning a location into a country name uses your iPhone's built-in geocoder; we never receive it, and we run no server of our own. Built for anyone splitting the year across borders — travelers, remote workers, digital nomads and anyone keeping an eye on how many days they spend in a country. DISCLAIMER DaysHere helps you count your travel days. It does not provide legal, immigration or tax advice, and a day count on its own does not decide your visa status or tax residency — those depend on rules that change and vary by nationality and circumstance. Always confirm with official government sources before you travel.
