DaysHere

Know exactly how many days you can stay — in every country you travel to. DaysHere counts your travel days country by country and tells you how many you have left: visa-free stays, the Schengen 90/180 rule, the UK's 180 days per visit, and calendar-year caps such as 183 days. No spreadsheets, no guesswork, no account. SEE YOUR REMAINING DAYS AT A GLANCE Every country you track shows the days you have left and the last day you can stay, under the rule that applies there. The number updates the moment you log a trip. EVERY KIND OF STAY LIMIT, BUILT IN • Fixed stay per entry — up to N days each time you enter, e.g. 30, 60, 90 or 180 days per visit. • Rolling window — a limit inside a moving window, like Schengen's 90 days in any 180. Group several countries under one shared allowance. • Calendar year limit — a cap between Jan 1 and Dec 31, e.g. 183 days per year. • Custom rule — your own day limit and period, for a country that does something different. • No limit — for home and anywhere you have free movement, so those days are simply counted. RULES SUGGESTED FOR YOUR PASSPORT Add a country and DaysHere shows the rule it knows for your passport there — what it allows and where that comes from — for you to check before it becomes your rule. PLAN A TRIP BEFORE YOU BOOK Enter the dates you have in mind and DaysHere tells you whether the trip fits, and how much of your allowance would be left. NEVER LOSE A TRIP YOU FORGOT TO LOG Turn on background tracking and DaysHere checks which country you are in about once a day, even while the app is closed. Anything that does not match what you have recorded comes back as a question you can accept, reject or delete — nothing is added to your history until you save it. Only the country is kept, unless you also record your route, which stays on this device. The feature is off until you switch it on, and short trips can be missed. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. ALERTS BEFORE THE DEADLINE Local reminders at 30, 14, 7, 3 and 1 days before your limit — and on the day itself. Turn each one on or off. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN A widget puts the number where you already look: the country you are in, the days you have left and the last day you can stay. It updates as your days count down, and on the Lock Screen it fits into a single circle or line. LOG TRIPS AND KEEP YOUR HISTORY Record entry and exit dates per country, including an ongoing stay with no exit date yet. Turn trips already in your calendar into stays with a tap. Review the whole history anytime, or take it with you as a CSV. A CALENDAR AND A GLOBE THAT MAKE IT OBVIOUS Stay days are color-coded by country on a month view, with your deadline day highlighted — and a globe replays your journeys, down to the route you took. YOUR TRAVEL HISTORY NEVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE No account, no cloud, no tracking, no ads. Your countries, stays and dates live on your device and nowhere else. Turning a location into a country name uses your iPhone's built-in geocoder; we never receive it, and we run no server of our own. Built for anyone splitting the year across borders — travelers, remote workers, digital nomads and anyone keeping an eye on how many days they spend in a country. DISCLAIMER DaysHere helps you count your travel days. It does not provide legal, immigration or tax advice, and a day count on its own does not decide your visa status or tax residency — those depend on rules that change and vary by nationality and circumstance. Always confirm with official government sources before you travel.

Michi records where you have been, and how long you stayed. Most travel apps count countries. Michi counts days. A city you passed through for an afternoon and a city you lived in for a year are not the same thing, and the map shows the difference. A MAP MADE OF SQUARES The world as a grid, like a contribution graph. Every square is a piece of the world, and the deeper its colour, the longer you were there. Colour means time spent, not a place ticked off a list. Open a continent and the squares get finer, so a trip that was one square on the world map becomes a shape. ADD A PLACE IN SECONDS Type a city, tap it, and it is saved. Nothing else is required. Dates, counted days and trips can come later, or never. Mark a city you lived in, and those days stay out of your travel total. YEARS OF TRAVEL FROM YOUR PHOTOS Michi can suggest past trips from the date and place saved in your photos. It never reads the pictures themselves, and nothing is saved until you have checked it. A PASSPORT YOU LEAF THROUGH Every country you have visited gets its own stamp, in the order you first went. The data page holds your totals, and Statistics shows your days by year, by continent and by country. FRIENDS, NOT A SOCIAL NETWORK Add a friend with a short code. There is no account to create. Compare your maps, see where you have both been, and find places you both want to go. On a city page, see which friends know it. Each friend sees only what you choose: places and days, or places only. There is no feed, no public profile, and no way for strangers to find you. PLACES STILL TO COME Keep a list of places you want to visit, and plan trips you have not taken yet. A planned trip counts down to its start, and one switch shows or hides future places on the map. Star your favourites and mark the places you would like to go back to. NOTHING IS INVENTED If you do not remember how long you stayed, Michi does not guess. An undated visit stays undated. It counts as visited, at the lightest shade, with no days made up for it, and days are never divided between cities on your behalf. TRIPS, WHEN YOU WANT THEM Group visits into a trip, give it a name, dates and a note, or leave them loose. Both work. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN / Widgets for your world map, each continent, and a countdown to your next trip. SHARE A PICTURE, NOT A PROFILE Turn your world map, a continent, or a single trip into an image and send it wherever you like. NO ACCOUNT, NO TRACKING There is nothing to create and nothing to sign in to. Michi runs no analytics and shows no ads. Your history stays on your iPhone, and syncs through your own iCloud account only if you switch that on. If you add a friend, your map is encrypted on your phone and passes through Michi's server, which cannot read it. Only that friend can open it. City search runs offline against data bundled with the app. What you type goes to Apple only if you tap Search Apple Maps to find a smaller town. You can export your whole history as a JSON or CSV file at any time. IN FOUR LANGUAGES Michi speaks English, German, Spanish and French, city names included: Munich is München on a German iPhone, and typing "Wien" finds Vienna on any phone. Michi is an iPhone app and it works without a connection. Friends need one to update.
