Stride is an app lock you open by walking. Pick the apps you doomscroll, and they stay locked until you earn them back with steps: every 500 steps unlocks 15 minutes. Willpower loses to an endless feed. Stride puts a short walk in the way, so you scroll less and walk more without fighting yourself. WALK TO UNLOCK YOUR APPS • Every 500 steps, counted by Apple Health, earns 15 minutes of app time. • Walk to the shop, take the stairs, pace during a call: it all counts. • Wear an Apple Watch? Steps from your iPhone and Watch are merged the way the Health app merges them, so a walk never counts twice. AN APP BLOCKER THAT FEELS FAIR • Open a locked app and Stride's shield appears instead. Tap once to start a pass with your earned minutes, with no detour through another app. • Out of time? The shield shows how many more steps you need. • Minutes are metered by actual use. Close the app and the clock stops. • Minutes you don't use stay banked for the rest of the week. • When your time runs out, your apps lock again on their own. SEE YOUR REAL SCREEN TIME • The Screen Time tab shows your phone time for today or the last 7 days: your daily average, your most-used apps and categories, and how often you pick up your phone. • Spot which of your top apps aren't locked yet, and lock them from the same screen. WATCH YOUR WALKS ADD UP • A weekly step chart with your daily average and best day. • Minutes earned, used and ready to spend, estimated distance, and a history of every pass. STREAKS AND FRIENDS • Hit a 5,000-step daily goal to build a streak, and share your weekly recap. • Add friends with a code and race your weekly steps on a private leaderboard. • Keep streaks going together, send cheers and win the week's crown. • Your steps are shared only with friends you approve. No contacts access, no public profiles. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Stride reads step counts from Apple Health and never writes to it. It locks apps with Apple's Screen Time tools, and your Screen Time never leaves your iPhone. No account needed. Friends is optional: sign in with Apple only if you want it. Only friends you approve see your weekly step total and streak; someone with your code sees just your name and emoji. FREE AND PRO Free: lock 1 app, enough to feel the habit change. Stride Pro: unlimited apps, plus whole categories like Social, Games and Entertainment in one switch. Your steps always unlock what you've earned. SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS Stride Pro is available as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
