CUTs! is a material cut list calculator for planning cuts from long materials such as wood, cable, pipe, aluminum profiles, LED strips, rods, wiring materials, and other linear stock. Before cutting, CUTs! helps you check how many pieces to cut, how many full-length materials to buy, whether existing scraps can be used first, and how much material will be left over. The key feature is scrap-first cut planning. CUTs! can use your existing scrap pieces first, then calculate how many new materials are still needed. For example, if you plan to use 4 m stock but already have one 2 m scrap and two 1.5 m scraps, enter them into CUTs!. The app will try to use those scraps before adding new full-length materials. This helps reduce waste, reuse leftover material, and make better purchasing decisions before work begins. CUTs! is useful for woodworking, cable cutting, pipe cutting, aluminum frame cutting, LED strip cutting, electrical work, DIY, fabrication, event setup, exhibition construction, stage setup, lighting installation, furniture making, and many jobs that involve cutting materials by length. Main features: ・Create cut lists for long materials ・Calculate full-length materials to buy ・Use existing scraps before new stock ・Add multiple scrap lengths and quantities ・Include extra allowance in each cut ・Add kerf, blade thickness, or cutting loss in fixed mm ・Switch units: mm, cm, m, in, ft ・Show total cut length, leftover length, and usage rate ・Save results as record cards ・Export record cards as PDF ・Remove ads with an in-app purchase Use scraps first Many workshops, garages, job sites, and storage areas have leftover pieces from previous work. CUTs! lets you enter scrap lengths and quantities, then prioritizes those scraps when creating a cutting plan. If your scraps are enough, you can create a plan without buying new stock. If not, CUTs! shows how many full-length materials should be added. Know what to buy CUTs! shows the number of full-length materials needed after considering cut lengths, quantities, scraps, allowance, and kerf. Use it before ordering materials, preparing job-site stock, or checking inventory. Reduce leftover material CUTs! creates practical cut plans designed to reduce leftover material. It places cut pieces efficiently into scraps and full-length stock to create a clear cutting list. It does not guarantee a mathematically perfect global optimum, but it is built for fast and practical cut planning. Allowance and kerf support CUTs! supports extra allowance for each cut. Kerf is entered in fixed millimeters, making small values such as 2 mm or 3 mm easy to handle. Multiple units CUTs! supports mm, cm, m, in, and ft. Use metric units for construction, electrical work, and fabrication, or imperial units for woodworking, DIY, and imported materials. Record cards and PDF export Calculation results can be saved as record cards with stock, scraps, cut lengths, quantities, total cut length, total leftover length, usage rate, and cutting details. You can export record cards as PDF and use them as work instructions, purchase planning documents, or shareable cut lists. Recommended for wood cut lists, cable length planning, pipe cutting, aluminum profile cutting, LED strip cutting, purchase planning, using scraps before buying new material, reducing material waste, DIY, construction, installation, event setup, exhibition work, stage work, and PDF sharing. Simple workflow: 1. Enter full-length stock 2. Add scraps if available 3. Enter allowance and kerf 4. Enter cut lengths and quantities 5. Tap Calculate CUTs! then shows a cutting plan, required purchase quantity, total leftover length, and usage rate. CUTs! is free to use and includes ads. Interstitial ads may be shown after every 3 successful calculations. You can remove ads with a non-consumable in-app purchase. CUTs! helps you reuse scraps, reduce material waste, plan purchases, and create clear cut lists before cutting begins.

How many boards do you need to buy, and where do you cut each one? Cutly takes your stock length, your saw's kerf and your list of cuts, and lays them out on as few boards as it can — as a labeled cutting diagram PDF you can take to the saw. Enter the stock length and blade kerf, add each cut with a label, length and quantity, then tap Make Cut Diagram PDF. • CUT LIST IN, BOARDS OUT — add cuts like "shelf 30 in × 4" or "leg 720 mm × 4". Up to 500 pieces per job. • KERF ACCOUNTED FOR — the blade width is charged between neighbouring cuts on the same board, so the pieces really fit. • FEWER BOARDS — pieces are packed longest-first with the First-Fit Decreasing method, a fast, proven way to keep the board count and offcuts low. • A DIAGRAM FOR EVERY BOARD — each stock board is drawn with its labeled cuts left to right and the leftover waste shaded. • STOCK SUMMARY — total boards, pieces and yield %, plus used length, waste and cut count for every board. • INCHES OR MILLIMETERS — work in either unit. Print the PDF, share it or save it to Files. Honest scope: Cutly is a linear (1D) cut list — boards, battens, trim, pipe, bar or tube cut to length from one stock length per job. It doesn't lay out plywood or sheet goods, handle grain direction or mix different stock lengths. First-Fit Decreasing gives a very good layout quickly, but it isn't guaranteed to be the absolute minimum. Everything is calculated on your iPhone — nothing is uploaded and no account is needed. Try it free — 3 cut diagram PDFs. A one-time $4.99 purchase unlocks unlimited diagrams. No subscription, no ads. Questions: overlapmarr@gmail.com
