About

DopaDogs

You need to study. And somehow your phone is in your hand again. "Just one more video" turns into an hour. Social and video apps are designed so their companies earn more the longer you stay. Endless feeds and constant notifications are built for that. It is not that your willpower is weak. Would you rather spend your time the way big companies designed it, or choose for yourself? DopaDogs (formerly BreakLoop) is for people who want to choose. It locks the apps you pick during study time and before bed, so the time you used to give your phone goes back to studying and to what you decide matters. [ Made for ] * Students who keep picking up their phone before tests * College students who binge videos before every deadline * Anyone studying for a certification whose study time disappears into feeds * Anyone who cannot put the phone down in bed [ What it does ] Time blocks Set times like "weekdays 7-10 PM: study" or "after 11 PM: phone off". The apps you chose stay locked during that window, and it starts automatically every day. Daily limits Set "video apps: up to 1 hour a day". Once you hit the limit, they stay locked for the rest of the day. Block list or allow list Block only the apps you choose, or keep just the apps you need (dictionary, study apps) and lock everything else. Countdown to your exam Add the date of your finals, entrance exam, mock exam or certification test. Home and the block screen show "93 days until Final exam". Your last 30 days See your average screen time per day and a ranking of your most used apps over the last 30 days, plus how many full days a year that adds up to. Alert if access is turned off If Screen Time access is turned off in Settings, your blocks stop. DopaDogs sends a notification, and opening the app brings your rules back right away. Strict Lock (Pro) While a block is active, the rule cannot be turned off and the app cannot be deleted. Use it when you want a promise to yourself to hold. Widgets See on your Home Screen and Lock Screen whether apps are blocked and how many minutes you have left today, next to a short quote. A block screen that does not judge When you try to open a blocked app you see our dog and a short quote. No guilt trips. [ FAQ ] Q. Does my personal data or browsing history leave my device? A. The apps and websites you block and your browsing history never leave your device. We send anonymous usage data such as screen transitions to improve the app. It does not include your name or email address. Q. Is it free? A. You get a 7-day free trial, then a yearly or monthly plan. We remind you before the trial ends. Your day has 24 hours. Spend them on your studies and on what you choose. Days of keeping your word to yourself add up: in your grades, and in how much you trust yourself. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
