EarnIt Time and Allowance
Read full descriptionHide full description
EarnIt helps families connect everyday chores to rewards kids actually care about โ screen time for today, or allowance for the week. Parents stay in control. Kids see a clear list. The whole family works from the same chores, updated as people finish them. * How it works * A parent creates the family, adds each child, and sets a daily screen-time limit. Kids choose a chore, do the work in real life, then mark it done. Minutes and allowance are only credited after a parent approves. Shared chores can be claimed by one child at a time, so two siblings are not marked for the same job. Individual chores โ making a bed, tidying a room โ can be completed by each child on their own. * What kids see * The home screen shows who is earning today. Each child has a personal list, a streak for consecutive days with approved work, and a level that grows over time. When a parent approves a chore, a short celebration appears. There is no public feed and no chat with strangers. * What parents control * A four-digit Parent PIN protects approvals and settings. From the parent dashboard you can approve or deny completed work, change limits, and reset the day if you need to. Optional Parent Tools add weekly allowance tracking, encouragement notes, custom chores, and bonus minutes. Parent Tools is a one-time In-App Purchase. Kids keep using EarnIt at no extra cost. The app has no subscription and no advertising. * What EarnIt does not do * EarnIt records earned screen time and allowance inside the app. It does not lock a device or change built-in Screen Time settings. Your family decides how to apply the time a child earned. * Privacy * Child profiles are created by a parent or guardian. EarnIt does not require an email address to get started, does not show ads, and does not sell family data. Details are in the privacy policy. Need help? Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EarnIt Time and Allowance at none against Checkout Deck's 1. EarnIt Time and Allowance also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
