Unhook
Read full descriptionHide full description
Unhook helps you notice the thoughts that stress you, set a goal, and train yourself to let them go faster. You cannot stop a thought from arriving, and trying to push one away only makes it louder. What you can train is how long it lingers, and research on rumination links that lingering, not the thought itself, to stress and low mood. Unhook turns this into one simple practice: catch a sticky thought, return your attention to your breath, and let it pass, before your line. THE GOAL Set a deadline (say 5 seconds) and a stretch (hours or days). Keep every thought under your deadline for the whole stretch and you reach your goal. Let one linger too long and the clock restarts from zero. That fresh start is the discipline that builds the habit. HOW IT WORKS - Catch a thought the moment it hooks you. - Breathe with the ring and let it pass. - Watch your pace get faster over time. - Reach your goal, celebrate, then set a harder one. CALM BY DESIGN - No shame, no nagging, no "do not break your streak" pressure. - A quiet, growing record of everything you have let go. - Home-screen and lock-screen widgets to see where you stand. - Gentle, optional reminders. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything stays on your device. No accounts, no tracking, no ads, nothing leaves your phone. Rooted in mindfulness and acceptance (ACT): the aim is not to fight a thought or push it away, but to notice it, unhook from it, and return to the present. The deadline is a training wheel, and as letting go gets easier, you will not need it.
EarnIt Time and Allowance
Read full descriptionHide full description
Kids do chores. You approve them. They earn screen time or an allowance. You choose the reward for each child. No ads. EarnIt connects chores to rewards kids want: screen time for today, or an allowance for the week. A reward counts only after a parent approves it. Each child sees a clear list of their chores. The family works from 1 shared list that updates when someone finishes a chore. How it works A parent creates the family and adds each child. For each child, the parent picks screen time or allowance. Kids pick a chore, do it, and tap Done. The chore then waits for a parent to approve it. Shared chores go to 1 child at a time, so 2 siblings can't claim the same job. Each child can do personal chores, like making their bed, on their own. What kids see The home screen shows who is earning today. Each child has their own chore list, a streak for each day in a row with approved chores, and a level that grows over time. When a parent approves a chore, the child sees a short celebration. There is no public feed and no chat with strangers. What parents control A 4-digit parent PIN protects approvals and settings. In the parent dashboard, you approve or decline chores, change limits, and reset the day. Parent Tools adds weekly allowance tracking, encouragement notes, custom chores, and bonus minutes. Parent Tools is a one-time In-App Purchase. Kids use EarnIt at no extra cost. What EarnIt does not do EarnIt records the screen time and allowance that a child earns. It does not lock a device or change Screen Time settings on iPhone or iPad. Your family decides how to use the time a child earns. EarnIt is not a debit card or a bank account. Privacy A parent or guardian creates each child profile. EarnIt does not need an email address, does not show ads, and does not sell family data. App privacy label: Data Not Collected. Need help?
